Unfortunately, our stay was cut short because of severe flooding that affected the entire town. Since we were traveling with children, we felt it was necessary to leave for our family’s safety.I contacted the owner, Michael, to see if we could work something out, either a refund or the opportunity to return another weekend for the two nights we were unable to use. I received no response for a week, and even after I involved Vrbo, communication remained difficult. Eventually, the only offer was a credit for one night, despite the fact that we had to leave because of the flooding.I had to research Vrbo’s policies myself and make the case that the property was uninhabitable during the flooding to pursue the refund I felt was fair for the two nights we missed.It was extremely disappointing to have a family trip disrupted by circumstances beyond our control and then have to fight so hard for a reasonable resolution. Michael owns multiple properties, but what disappointed me most was the lack of communication, understanding, and willingness to work with us during a difficult situation.The house itself is beautiful, but based on our experience, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression. I hope future guests have a better experience.

Beautiful view

If you like "sitting on a dock of the bay" in a nice neighborhood, with a beautiful view, a quaint small beach with old-time charm a short walk away, and a big screen tv to catch a movie or football game or whatever your interest is, this is the place.

Lovely home on the bay

My wife and I had a lovely May visit. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The view was fantastic, even though it was cloudy and rainy for our stay. We enjoyed the view of the bay from the living room. It was the perfect size for the two of us.
