Welcome yourself to our Cozy Blue Door Cottage located in the heart of Canyon Lake, TX! If you're planning a weekend getaway with some friends or family, this cottage has everything you need to relax in complete comfort. The central location is close to local restaurants, hill country activities, and the beautiful Canyon Lake. There is an upstairs gameroom and very spacious outdoor setup with plenty of room for boat parking. Take a look inside and let your Canyon Lake vacation begin!

Still Daydreaming of Deer!

We had an amazing stay at this cottage, the upstairs game room kept the kids busy playing together after long days of swimming in nearby rivers. Great location with all of the attractions you could ask for within a 30 minute drive if visiting nearby cities! Also always had 3-10 deer in the backyard at all times, and several grey foxes as well (which I had never seen in person before). So cute!

Amazing place!!

We stayed here for our daughter’s 3rd birthday and she had a blast! The house is just as pictured and had all the activities to keep her entertained. Feeding “Santa’s Reindeer” was her favorite part. We will most definitely be staying here again!

Hill Country Trip

We loved this cottage. Check in was super easy and everything was as indicated online. When the deer corn bucket had been knocked over by animals over night, the owner was prompt in providing a solution so we could enjoy feeding the deer the very next day. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, pans, and utensils. We enjoyed the front porch, walking down the street, wildlife, and all the indoor games - shuffleboard, foosball, board games and video games. A very nice place for our family.

Fabulous vacation spot

We loved the coziness of this cute cottage. It was equipped with everything you may need if staying longer than a few days. Feeding the deer and enjoying a campfire was so much fun!! We will definitely be back!!!

Great house!

This was a perfect house for our family! My kids loved playing all the games, especially the arcade games. We also loved feeding the deer every morning and evening. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Very peaceful and quiet. It was a perfect little getaway for a few days. My kids are already begging to go back.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property. My children were entertained with all the games upstairs and my husband and I had some peaceful relaxation on the porch enjoying nature and the many deer roaming the neighborhood. We found in the kitchen everything we needed for cooking meals as well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to getaway for quality family time and some rest and relaxation.

Amazing cottage

Great location!

We took a mini vacation in June 2024. The house is super cute! Lots of deers come visit daily. We visited Canyon lake, Guadalupe river swam, fish and hiking we had an awesome time! The host was very good at responding when I had any questions, very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place!

Quick weekend getaway

The property was very clean and Austin was a very attentive and responsive host. Coffee with creamer and sugar is a must and they had plenty to pick from. Clean and comfortable linens. The deer coming so close to the house was an added bonus. If ever back in the area, wouldn’t hesitate to book this cottage again.

Cozy blue door was amazing!

This property is top notch. Proximity to the lake is great. Property has everything you need to have an amazing get away, with or without children. My boys 19 & 10 enjoyed the gameroom and arcade setup. The deer coming up to feed was incredible, corn was provided which was a nice extra touch. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Getaway!

House was very clean with charming decorations. Had everything needed – extra pillows, throws, lots of games & books, even coffee, sugar & creamer. Fun to watch deer come right up to the porch. (Owner even provided deer corn to feed them.) Such a relaxing trip – definitely renting this one again!

Such a cute little house! All was perfect for our stay! We had 2 boys 9 & 13 and they loved the upstairs game room! BEST part was the deer corn they left us to feed the deer all day long!! We brought our dog too & he enjoyed being at the house. Great spot & nice driving distance to Cypress Falls Swimming Hole, hiking at Canyon Lake Gorge & Overlook, Gruene Hall and Natural Bridge Cavern Will recommend to other friends. Thank you! Christmas in the Cottage

Our family of 3 decided to have a last minute getaway for Christmas. This cottage was perfect. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The game room was fun, great for family time and we loved the book nook with the bean bag chairs. The location was convenient to the lake, Wimberley, and San Marcos for hiking and dinning and other activities. Tithe added bonus was the deer feed. The deer came from everywhere once you threw the feed out.

The Perfect Getaway

Austin is an amazing host who definitely understands what he’s doing and how to check-in and treat a guest! We had an amazing stay and we were in communication as needed. As for the home, it’s in the perfect location and has all the amenities we needed. The host really thought of everything when it comes to hosting people at his home. Perfect family get-a-way!

Everything was perfect from the owners staying in constant contact down to every detail inside the house. The house was decorated very nice and cozy which made it feel like home. They also thought of everything down to an iron and blow dryer for you to use. The house had tons of games and space for my family. We also made great memories drinking the stocked coffee while feeding the deer in the morning. The neighborhood was nice, friendly, quiet and close to everything we needed. Most definitely recommend and we will be back to make great memories on Canyon Lake. A huge thank you to the best host we have rented from thus far.

Canyon Lake Trip

We chose this house to stay in when we took our boys to the lake. The game room was the big selling point for us! No shortage of fun there! The size of the house was perfect for the 4 of us. The house is very clean and cozy. It’s in a neighborhood, but it felt private. We had a lot of deer come up to the front porch and fed them corn that the owners provided. The rocking chairs on the porch were nice with morning coffee. The location was great! Since Canyon Lake rents boats with tubes and skis we may stay here again. Thank you!

This place was amazing. My kids LOVED their room. The games are perfect. My kids always had something to do while at the home. The beds were very comfortable! My favorite was in the mornings going outside to feed the deer, then sit and drink coffee and watch the view. It was so relaxing and comfortable. The owner Austin was very responsive from the very beginning of our booking till we left! Any time we needed anything, we would reach out and we would get a fast response. Very attentive. Over all it was one of the best stays I’ve had. I definitely recommend.

We decided to purchase our lake cottage because we were visiting Canyon Lake often to enjoy the beautiful clear blue water and spend time out in the hill country. We love sharing our home with guests, and we enjoy hearing the positive experiences that we are able to provide for travelers!

One thing that separates our property form competitors, is the local deer that come to feed in our spacious front yard. Our front yard is not fenced in so they love to come hang out. We provide deer corn so that you can feed them. Also, we take pride in our upstairs game room where you can keep yourself occupied with plenty of fun activities like arcade units and classic board games.
