We loved fishing off the dock, kayaking and paddle boarding. Beach is a short walk across the street. Lots of blue crabs, we didn’t figure it out until our last day!

Hi, Jess. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!
We three families (twelve in all) loved our week at Golden Hour. It's a short walk to the beach, there are kayaks to paddle around the marsh, and excellent fishing and crabbing from the dock . The kitchen is spectacular, wonderfully equipped and able to handle meals big enough for a dozen people with different appetites. Sunset cocktails on the back deck can't be beat. Highly recommended, to the point we fear not being able to get a week next year
This is a beautiful house and the water views are terrific. We enjoyed fishing and spending time on the dock. There was plenty of room and we were grateful our small dog could be with us. I think housekeeping just got busy and in a hurry overlooked a couple of areas as I understand they handle many houses. We were able to clean the upstairs bathrooms and kitchen with the products under the sink in house and didn’t really worry about Sandy floors as we expected to be on the beach also. Not a big deal. We were offered a $50 credit toward the 16k rental. Overall it was such a blessing to be able to take our elderly in-laws since there was an elevator and we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed a lovely week at Golden Hour! The house was well-equipped with just about everything we needed living-wise. Being right on the water with a dock provided additional things to do such as kayaking, paddle boarding and even renting a boat for a few days. Access via water to The Point, as well as it being in walking distance was a plus!
