The location could not be beat. Beautifully renovated home. Had some cleanliness issues. House is not stocked with essentials for travelers that fly in: no hair dryer, 1 garbage bag, no pool towels, etc.

Very impressed!

It’s hard to see from the pictures, but the walk to the sand dunes is approximately 25 yards. As soon as you are on the other side of the dune, you're on a beautiful beach. So it would take five minutes to get back to the house to grab more cold drinks or food for the kids. House must’ve been completely renovated within the last year or two. All of the appliances work perfectly. The washer and dryer are full sized and worked really well. The first morning everyone was waking up and complementing the mattresses on how comfortable they were! The pool is heated, nearly as hot as a hot tub, so that in the cold wind, we were all very comfortable in the evening. The kids were in the pool well past midnight every night! Running downstairs to the outdoor shower in the cold breeze of the ocean was invigorating. 1.2 miles to Food Lion - takes less than five minutes. We felt like the location couldn’t have been better. We stayed with my sister’s family as well so eight children total and always there was an open bathroom. Gates at the bottom of both stairs were very handy to keep our younger children and dog safe. This is our favorite location for the beach. Everyone is very friendly and we could leave our chairs and towels on the sand in the morning and go back-and-forth all day and not have to worry about anyone bothering our belongings. We hope to return next year. We highly recommend this rental if you have a big family.
