About this property

Large cottage in the countryside - ideal for families, hikers and cyclists

Our newly renovated and modern holiday home is located in the quiet Eifel village Gefell, near the Nürburgring, away from all main traffic routes, in the middle of the hilly volcanic Eifel directly on a signposted mountain bike route and signposted hiking trails. From here you can easily reach the Eifelmaare in the summer for swimming and hiking at any time. The entrance to the Maare-Mosel-Radweg (former railway line) is located in the approximately 8 km distant county town of Daun, which invites you to stroll and shop and where cozy restaurants and cafes are. Due to the connection to the A1 / A48 in about 5 km distance you reach the cities of Trier and Koblenz in a short time. The tranquil Moselle towns Cochem, Bernkastel or Bad Bertrich can be reached soon.

You live in the 2-storey 200 sqm holiday home alone.
In the (barrier-free) ground floor there is an open kitchen / dining area with new kitchen incl. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine and toaster, a dining room including two high chairs for our youngest visitors, a large living room with a comfortable couch and a flat screen TV, another open space with seating that invites you to chat or play and a cozy tiled stove for the we provide the wood, an accessible bathroom with toilet, shower and bath, a storeroom with washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and freezer.

In the 1. Floor are the 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and one with two single beds and a bathroom with toilet and shower. The bedrooms are each equipped with wardrobes, so that sufficient storage space is available. 2 extra beds can be added in the largest of the bedrooms. In the large hall of the upper floor, we have set up a play area with Lego railway and other toys and children's books. The house is heated by a central oil heater.

Outside is a large terrace with great views, an awning and garden furniture and gas grill for cozy barbecues. There is also a garden with a swing and slide for children and a trampoline and basketball hoop, the village playground is located 50 meters away.

There is also free parking and a lockable cellar for storing bicycles or motorcycles.

Platz für Alle

Der Check-in war problemlos, das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend . Wir waren mit einem Kleinkind da, so war uns die gut ausgestattete Küche und der großzügige Essbereich sehr nützlich, da wir uns weitgehend selbst verpflegt haben. Im Wohnzimmer ist Platz für einen gemütlichen Fernsehabend, oder großer TV, eine Musikanlage und sehr gutes W-Lan. Für unsere Spielabende war Platz in einem weiteren Raum. Für unsere Freizeitgestaltung gab es super ausgebaute Radwege, Ausflug zum Nürburgring, Ausflug nach Cochem. Alles in allem ein ruhiger, entspannter Familienurlaub.

Perfekt für einen Tip mit Freunden

Das Haus ist perfekt für einen Urlaub mit Freunden zum Spielen und Wandern. Die 2 großen Esstische lassen es zu die Spiele aufgebaut zu lassen während man isst. Fernseher und Musikanlage runden das ganze dann ab, um nach den Spielen den Abend mit einer Serie ausklingen zu lassen. Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, dass das Kochen leicht von der Hand geht.

Komfortables Ferienhaus in einem sehr freundlichen Ort

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, bei dem jeder auf seine Kosten kam. Das Ferienhaus erfüllt alle Erwartungen und wird mit sehr viel Liebe und Hingabe von Familie Kläs geführt. Sollte Wiedererwartens doch mal etwas fehlen, wird sofort für Abhilfe gesorgt. Man kann wunderbar von hier aus die Städte Koblenz und Trier besuchen. Bei gutem Wetter kann man wunderbar eine Abkühlung in einem der Freibäder in einem Maar nehmen. Für Wanderer und Fahrradfahrer sehr gut geeignet.

Top Haus für Ausflüge und Spieleabende

Ein sehr schönes, helles Haus mit viel Platz für alle Mitreisenden. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Als Ausgangsbasis für die Erkundung der Vulkaneifel und des weiteren Umfelds liegt das Haus sehr gut. Die große Terrasse lädt aber auch zum Verweilen in der Sonne ein. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die beiden großen Tische, die gemütliches Beisammensitzen, aber auch Spieleabende ermöglichen. Insbesondere, da man so auch mal ein Spiel stehen lassen kann, wenn es mal länger gedauert hat.

Silvester in der Eifel

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 6 Erwachsenen und einem Kind in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war gut und unkompliziert, das Ferienhaus war sauber und in gutem Zustand. Es entsprach zu 100% der Anzeige und war gefühlt sogar größer als erwartet. Für Ruhesuchende, Mountainbiker und Wanderer die optimale "Homebase". Das Wohnzimmer mit großem TV und guter Multimediaanlage hat uns auch sehr gut über die eine oder andere regnerische Stunde gebracht. Fazit: Eines der besten Ferienhäuser der letzten Jahre und 5 ***** Sterne Wert. Grüße an Familie Kläs

Schönes großes Haus

Wir waren zu viert eine Woche im Haus und haben unseren jährlichen Brettspieleurlaub gemacht. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und vor allem sehr groß. Wir haben wetterbdingt die ganze Zeit im Haus verbracht aber die großen Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und die großen Schlafzimmer haben dafür gesorgt das wir uns nie eingesperrt gefühlt haben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und es lief alles reibungslos. Die Ausstattung an Technik (sehr schöner Fernsher), Küchengeräten und Beleuchtung war die bisher Beste die wir hatten.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Es fehlte hier wirklich an nichts. Das ganze Haus ist super ausgestattet und dazu sehr geräumig. Es gibt viele Informationen von den Vermietern für diverse Ausflüge in der Region. Vom Ferienhaus aus kann man viele Ziele erreichen. Für die Kinder gab es sowohl im Haus aber auch draußen im Garten viele Spielmöglichkeiten. Alles wirklich sehr toll!!

In dieser Konstellation hatten wir unseren ersten Urlaub. Mein Mann, meine Schwester, unser Cousin und ich. Dafür war das Haus super-geeignet. Zeit zusammen, aber auch mal aus dem Weg gehen, alles kein Problem. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und praktisch. Wir fanden alles, was "das Herz begehrt". Einzig die Treppen sind für nicht ganz so mobile Menschen etwas schwierig zu bewältigen. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche :o)

Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht findet es hier. Man findet hier ein Haus, welches sauber, geräumig und modern ist. Es ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet um einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bekommen. Keine Störungen durch Verkehr .....garantieren das man auch Abends noch entspannt draussen sitzen kann.Die Vermieter sind sehr nett , zuvorkommend und geben Tipps für tolle Ausflüge. Huis heel ruim en netjes. Twee badkamers fijn. - Helaas geen separaat toilet Met drie koppels een week kunnen genieten van de omgeving vanuit dit huis. Er valt veel en mooi te fietsen en wandelen!

Tolles Haus für den Familienurlaub mit Freunden

Wir haben uns in diesem großen und super ausgestatteten Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kinder haben den Platz zum Spielen sehr genossen. Gute Lage für Ausflüge in der Vulkaneifel und zum Fahrradfahren. Auch mit den Vermietern hat alles spitze geklappt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.
