The Perfect Get Away - Bull Moose Retreat

Imagine sitting on a leather couch in front of the floor to ceiling river rock fireplace enjoying beautiful mountain views. Maybe you prefer to enjoy the Wyoming beauty more directly from the full length deck? Or preparing meals in an open spacious kitchen with barstools around the counter, still enjoying the views. We have the perfect location for your needs and desires. Specializing in large groups, weddings, family reunions, outfitters, corporate meetings, and retreats. This property has about 6,400 s.f. of living space consisting of the lodge and the retreat house, with an attached 3-car garage. It sits on 35 acres with beautiful views of the adjoining mountains. Minutes from downtown Cody which has the World-Famous Cody Nite Rodeo, Buffalo Bill Historical Center and Museums, nightly re-enacted gunfights, shopping, rec center with pool, and more. Also minutes from the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, Buffalo Bill Dam and Visitor's Center.


Centrally located to unlimited outdoor recreational opportunities which can be enjoyed on a day-trip basis, such as Yellowstone National Park, Thermopolis Hot Springs and Dinosaur Museum, Shell Canyon, Wind River Canyon, Little Big Horn, the Medicine Wheel, Big Horn Mountains, Beartooth Mountains, Pryor Mountain Wild Horse range, and Grand Teton National Park.

Perfect Family Getaway location

We had a family getaway for our Parent's 50th anniversary. The Bull Moose retreat fit our needs perfectly. Giving each family their own space with plenty of things to do for all the kids!

This house has everything you need for a terrific vacation. Our host, Linda, was fantastic and the house ambassadors Sasha and Boris were all welcoming. We had 15 friends staying at the house and we all had plenty of room. Loved it! Will definitely stay here again the next time we get to Wyoming.

The hosts have thought of everything.We had 18 in our group, plenty of space and beds for everyone.The snack basket was a nice touch for hungry guests on arrival.We had a rain day and everyone voted to just stay at the house. Plenty of entertainment for all ages.Host was amazing, very nice and easy to contact. Cleaners are awesome and took a family photo for us.I would highly recommend stayng here if you're in the Yellowstone area.Its a very scenic one hour drive to the park.Thanks for sharing this property!

SO memorable!

The location was absolutely perfect for our small family wedding. Not only is the lodge perfect for a large group with many beds/toilets/seating but the property managers were SO GRACIOUS and flexible with many caterers/service people needing to come and go outside of the official check-in/out time. I couldn't have been happier with all the amenities and quality of the property!!!

Bull Moose Retreat: Great for Families.

We had a family reunion/vacation in July 2022 and the whole family (11 adults and 8 children) stayed at Bull Moose Retreat. The large house was well-maintained and well-equipped. The owners live nearby and were very helpful. The house is located just outside of Cody, WY in a very scenic setting. We highly recommend this property.

Amazing place

This was a perfect place to hold an anniversary party. My parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at Moose Bull Lodge. It was perfect. The owners were very nice. The houses had plenty of room and a huge kitchen. Outdoors was great too. Horse shoes and fire pit. I would recommend this place to anyone.
