Sue ,the host was absolutely amazing and replied promptly to all of our questions. The property is in a great location and was absolutely spotless. We had a wonderful stay at this cute house! The decor was perfect for getting us in a beachy state of mind! But more impressive was how stocked the house was...every imaginable thing you could need! It was certainly home away from home!! Very clean and an easy walk to the seawall and beach. A big thank you to our hosts!!! We definitely recommend this property!!

What a gem! Lovely decor, comfortable beds, and a short easy walk from the beach! Host was communicative and was very thoughtful and left some condiments, coffee, and water bottles which was an extra special touch to top off our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Most colorful stay on the island

is everywhere in this house along with bright colors . It was all tastefully done. Even though my husband was,on sensory overload, my friends and I loved it. We were there for a Mardi Gras and had walking access to the parades. Crappy weather but manages to have a great time!

Loved this Place!

This cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed for our family of 4 with a 5 and 3 year old. We were SO COMFORTABLE! The location is perfect. The place is clean. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry had everything we needed. Host is so accommodating with linens, beach wagon and chairs, sand toys, etc. Beach access was easy. We look forward to coming back!

Perfect house for our family. We brought supplies but didn’t need much since the house was stocked with everything. We definitely are staying here again if available. Great communication with the host. So close to the beach and restaurants. Can’t say enough good things about the host and house. Thanks so much.

Galveston home

This listing deserves a 5++rating in all areas. The home is very comfortable, extraordinarily clean, and extremely well-stocked in all areas. The location is quiet and walk and drive- friendly to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The owner is very solicitious, providing help with good restaurants, tourist sites, and any maintenance issues. We have stayed at several VRBO locations and this place is one of the best.

Perfect Getaway House in Galveston!

This property was more than an excellent value for the price. We were 2 mature couples and we could not have asked for a better place to stay. The home was clean, and well stocked. Hostess is very responsive to questions and we found the house easy to find and in a good safe neighborhood. We definitely enjoyed the patio area. While we did not really use the kitchen, we know it is well stocked with everything.

Wonderful weekend at a beautiful home close to Seawall

I was impressed! This house looks even better in person than it does in the photos and has everything you could possible need or want. The host was very thorough with directions and information about our stay. Absolutely 100% satisfied with our weekend stay in this quiet neighborhood. (And if the owner ever wants to sell this gem, I would love to buy it - that's how perfect it is!)

I was very pleased with the property. Convenient walk to the beach. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, had all the things you would need for your trip. The house had an abundance of bath towels, beach towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washing soap, and even dishwasher tablets. It was the best stocked rental house I have rented on vacation. The owner was very responsive to questions and very helpful overall.

Walking distance to beach/restaurants and had everything we needed!

We went to stay for the long weekend with our three kids - two 6 year old girls and a 2 year old son. It was perfect. The owner left a few items for the kids and the little one (like high chair) and the garage came stocked with beach toys, boogie boards, etc. The place was clean and well stocked with the essentials. We walked over to the beach, to dinner, to see fireworks. It was perfect. The kids loved the place too. We would love to stay here again on our next Galveston trip!

The cutest place!

I don’t have one negative thing to say about this beautiful beach house! The entire process was easy from check in to check out. The home is immaculately clean and decorated so nicely! A perfect floor plan and layout for our family. Everything you could possibly need during your stay is provided. Towels, linens, basic household supplies, washer/dryer and beach gear. Lots of beach chairs, toys, umbrella, and the best thing, wagons!!!, for your use! The trek to the beach is only 2 blocks. During our stay, it was about 110 degrees outside, so we didn’t use the outdoor amenities, but a nice patio, grill, table/chairs, and relaxing spot in the shade is available as well. The yard is private and has a fenced in area! Owner is wonderful and easy to communicate with. We’d recommend staying here and would like to return in the future!!

Home away from home

The property was very clean, fully stocked with anything we needed and more. House is very short waking distance (5mins top) from beach. Grocery and restaurants are close by as well. Host was incredibly nice and responsive. This will be our top pick when we go to Galveston next.

Sue and Chris are native Texans with a life long love of coming to Galveston. Sue is a Realtor and Chris is a builder/contractor. Their love of old homes brought them to Galveston to find the perfect get away cottage to enjoy. Both have worked hard to put their personalities and lifestyle into Seas the Moment during the renovation.
While the beach has always been a draw, Sue and Chris have come to love all the activities year round that make Galveston special. Of course, you can also find Sue on the Strand enjoying all the unique shops and restaurants too!
From Bishop's Palace, the Moody Mansion, The Railroad Museum, tours on the Strand, the annual home tours, and of course, Dicken's on The Strand and Mardi Gras just to name a few...there is always something happening in Galveston.
Come for the beach and stay for the fun!

Kroger, Academy, Walmart, plenty of restaurants, and Ben and Jerry's are all nearby. The Strand is an easy drive for a day of exploring the downtown area. There are great restaurants, coffee bars, breweries, antiques and shopping for blocks.
