Exquisite Duplex in the Heart of KC + Parking

The Roanoke duplex combines two of our popular units the Lookout and the Den into one property that will sleep up to 14 guests. Planning a large family vacation or friendcation? Spread out over two floors in a home that offers 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, outdoor space and 2 separate kitchens. There are very few properties in Kansas City that will compare to this one. Walking distance to Q39 and all of the shops and restaurants on 39th st., minutes from Westport, The Plaza and Downtown KC.

*IDENTITY VERIFICATION and PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIREMENT: Our properties are protected by SuperHog which is a third party identity verification and insurance partner. Once you have booked, you will be contacted by SuperHog to verify yourself and purchase insurance for a one time non-refundable fee of $35.00. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in in order to receive property access instructions.

* PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 16, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED.

* PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet host provides dog bag stations). There is not a fenced yard but the area is perfect for walking! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*Full refund will be provided if guest cancels more than five days prior to arrival minus any processing fees. No refund will be given if cancelled within five days of arrival.
We are always a phone call, text or email away but we do not live on site.
The neighborhood is absolutely amazing and has everything you could possibly want within minutes. Within walking distance to the Kansas City famous Q39 Restaurant and just four blocks from Jazz A Louisiana Kitchen, Blue Koi Noodles and KC Smoke Burger. If you enjoy walking, this neighborhood is perfect and you are one block from Roanoke park! Lots of outdoor patios to savor a cup of coffee or a cocktail and enjoy a beautiful day. Westport is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute Uber ride, there the options are endless. Billiards at Harry's Bar and Tables, Foosball at Buzzard Beach, cigar buff? We got you covered at Fidel's Cigar Shop and several bars with craft beers. There are grocery stores, restaurants, bars, boutiques, gyms, yoga studios all within minutes!

The neighborhood is quiet and we truly love and respect our neighborhood so we don't allow any parties or large gatherings at our properties. There will be a $700 fine assessed to any guest that does not follow this policy. We appreciate you respecting our home and neighborhood.
Guests will have access to the entire property. We will not be on the property but we are just a quick phone call away.
This building houses 2 completely separate units. They sit on top of each other and are not connected with an interior hallway. In order to go in between the units, guests will need to either utilize the front or back door where the stairs are located. This listing includes BOTH units.

Lower level kitchen is fully equipped with major appliances and offers a full set of pots/pans and cooking utensils for all of your cooking needs. A Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, pour over and french press; cream and sugar are also provided!

Lower level living room is a great space to kick back and relax watching TV or enjoy a game night with family and friends. The couch does pull out into a sleeper bed to accommodate an additional two guests. This home offers high speed WIFI and Netflix and Hulu apps are on the TV.

All three lower level bedrooms are equipped with a queen size bed, luggage stand and additional closet space so you don't have to live out of your suitcase!

Lower level bathroom has a full size shower/bathtub including Tommy Bahama shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. One large bath towel and one wash cloth will be provided per guest as well as convenient dark make-up towels and hand towels.

Upper level living room: The comfortable sectional will easily seat 4- 5 guests with additional seating provided. The 50" flat screen TV is set up for users to be able to log into their Netflix, HULU, YouTube or Amazon Prime accounts. High speed WIFI will allow for streaming movies, conducting zoom calls or gaming. Card games are also provided for anyone that wants to host a fun game night.

Upper level dining room features a full coffee bar including a french press, drip coffee maker, pour over and a Keurig coffee machine. An assortment of k-cups, creamer and sugar are provided. We also provide a bar kit for anyone that wants to be a bartender for the evening so bring your cocktail guide for entertaining. The dining room table will comfortably seat 6 guests.

Upper Level features 2 large bedrooms equipped with a KING size bed, a large closet for storage, and a 40" TV set up with all of the apps! One of the large bedrooms also has a work space and there is a separate work space in the smaller 3 bedroom.

Upper Level also has 1 office/additional small bedroom with a beautiful work space that overlooks Roanoke Rd. and a comfortable queen size daybed which will sleep 2 additional guests.

Upper level kitchen has recently been remodeled and has everything you need from pots pans, plates, silverware, bakeware and cookie sheets to cook any meal that you desire. If you don't feel like cooking that's not a problem as there are over a 100 hundred different restaurants just minutes from your front door.

Upper level has one large bathroom that is located off the hallway. We provide one large bath towel and one wash cloth per guest along with dark make-up towels for convenient make-up removal. A hair dryer is located in each full bathroom along with Tommy Bahama luxury bath products including shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion.

* Parking - There are four free parking spots located behind the building for guest use. Additional street parking is also available.

Getting around is so easy!! There are so many options. The easiest is to park your car behind the building and either walk or Uber your way around town. There are also motorized scooter and bike options if you enjoy feeling the wind in your hair!

Charming older home
Location worked perfectly for what we needed. Used local restaurants & park. Parking was great. Room to spread out. Free standing tubs / showers were slippery; reaching the shower soap, shampoo and towel supply were awkward. Hair in tub on the main floor. Upon arrival lots of trash near back of house, visible mouse traps; lower entry way cluttered with supplies and leaves. Butts in a cup of water outside in the front window. Did not realize by the property description that the only way to get to the upstairs apartment was to go outside and enter the code again. We had a lot of food, luggage and supplies to carry in to house. It was inconvenient to send someone to the front door to let us in the back door.

Beautiful old t 2 unit
This is a great listing. It’s old and had lots of character. It was furnished with everything we needed. Since it is old, the floors creak, so light sleepers used a sound machine app on their phone because you could hear everyone walking around. But honestly it wasn’t a big deal. It is close to lots of good restaurants, short drive to the stockyard where a really fun winery was. We went and had brunch in an arts district right down the road, short drive to IKEA. It was great!!! I’d stay there again!

Great Westport Location
Great location for Westport activities. We had 9 ladies in our group. We came up for the Barley Bus tours and it ended up being the perfect location for our activity as we were able to get dropped off. Beds were amazing ! Very cute place and accommodated us all with lots of room. Only complaint is that the dining room downstairs is a little dark but we were able to move a couple of lamps around. We fixed dinner here and had enough kitchen supplies to prepare it. Overall- highly recommend!
