It was smaller than expected but in the best way. Very cozy, very livable for our days away, nice little view and tons of wildlife to see. We had fun and the kids loved it.
For 2 people and 2 dogs it was just right.Quiet, tree lined area. I read a previous review that said everything powered with extension cords. There were none. Looked like all power had been upgraded. Communication was immediate . There was internet access, sheets, towels and utensils not indicated in listing. Very clean. The Hopatcong diner was very close and excellent. We all enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Vladimir was a premier host who was consistently supportive and ensured that we had everything that we needed during our stay.
Accommodations were very clean. Very quiet location.
We are very glad to have found this on VRBO.

It was our second stay at your cabin and, again, a great stay. Thank you!

The cottage was very tiny, but neat and clean. We only stayed the one night as we were in town to see a friend play at a restaurant nearby! We will certainly stay again if we should ever be in town again!
It was great stay in the perfect location for us. Vlad was VERY accommodating. There was also access to a firepit that was lit every evening during our stay. The amenities didn't mention the little electric double burner for when you want to want to cook for yourself - we were so happy to find that! We can't say enough about it and will refer to our friends for sure!

No wash cloths despite paying for a laundry service. Had to leave to get some wash cloths. No soap except some previously used bars. 😳 Bring your own. No stove, some dorm room type appliances. Didn't answer my emails. Didn't see him until very late outside after getting things not provided. Hope to discuss this with him if he's around tomorrow.
Although the host and family were very nice, the cabin was certainly not adequate for more than a very short stay, nor more than 1 or 2 people. For my 7 week stay, there was no place to put my clothes other than a tiny closet with no hangers. No chests of drawers, no good lighting, no place to store groceries. It is not suitable for a disabled or elderly person, with a dangerous stepdown from kitchen to living area and a tiny bathroom. This is my 6th stay through VRBO and the only one that I felt had given exaggerated information and misleading reviews.
Cute and cozy and clean! We traveled from Topsail Island, NC for a family wedding in Sparta. Our dog loved it too! The host greeted us after the wedding and had a fire going for us to relax under the stars. The local diner for breakfast was great as well as the State Park for a hike. Wish we had more time....
Do not waste your time and money, you will be very disappointed
Strong smell of mildew, the floor was soft felt like we were going to fall through the floor. View from window was terrible, all i could see was trash and junk...refrigerator plugged into shared outlet, very unsafe. I would have been better sleeping in my car....
The live poinsettias were a very nice touch. It had a homey feel. We were concerned about the electrical setup. There were outlets out of code, with no ground plug. Also, multiple appliances such as: the refrigerator, space heater, lights under the stair and the tv all plugged into a 3-plug extender. Kitchen outlet overextended as well. It was extremely cold. when we stayed. So even with the 3 space heaters, it was cold especially the floor with no rugs/carpet. We had a hard time with the door and lock. It would be a nice place for a short visit in the warm weather. The hosts were very accessible. They shoveled and salted for our safety throughout our stay. We were concerned for our safety, but made it work.
This is a unique property, meticulously clean, comfortable and tucked away off the beaten path. Vladimir was responsive to any questions we had. A great find!
Our stay was very pleasant as the property provided everything we needed for the week in terms of good sleep, possibility of preparing breakfast and even meals (big clean refrigerator, burner, micro, coffee maker, utensils and outside barbecue. Bathroom with hot water. Living room with new TV and plenty of channels. Much appreciated strong WiFi. Great communication with the host. Would definitely use again.
