About this property

Historic Nancy Whorf House

Once belonging to the renowned Provincetown artist, Nancy Whorf, we are honoured to share our amazing home with you. Come for a unique stay in our house that features prime examples of Nancy's art painted on doors, walls, ceilings, and cabinets. There is also a walk-in floor to ceiling doll house, designed and created by Nancy, complete with period furnishings, electricity and, of course, her magnificent artwork!

Our home is large, bright, airy and comfortable; with three bedrooms and one bath boasting a clawfoot shower, on the second floor. There is an additional full bath on the first floor, complete with an antique hand decorated clawfoot tub. The remainder of the first floor contains the large living room with gas fireplace, the dining room, and, of course, the fully appointed kitchen, complete with a restored antique gas stove! Every aspect of our home has been designed and restored so that you may experience the one-of-a-kind heritage and artistry that make Provincetown the special place that it is.

The grounds of the house have been professionally landscaped with native trees, shrubs and perennials, including a peaceful meadow garden surrounded by shrubs of wild blueberry, ready for your picking at the height of their ripening! There is a brick patio just outside the kitchen, which makes for lovely outdoor summer dining around a central wrought iron table. This patio is surrounded by a magnificent vegetable and herb garden which offers guests fresh produce during the peak harvest season. Just outside the primary bedroom, there is a second more private stone patio and water garden, complete with a babbling stream to lull you to sleep at night.

Each bedroom features its own individually controlled air conditioning unit for your comfort.

We invite you to experience our beautiful, private home, which is located close to everything in town, yet tucked just enough away to enjoy relaxing days and quiet evenings. We look forward to hosting you for your unique experience of a very special part of Provincetown!

Please note property has been run as a successful bed and breakfast and guesthouse for several years but the owners are out of town so it is a private home rental new to the VRBO platform this season.
