Home away from home

We had a wonderful experience staying at the beach cottage. The house was very clean and felt very comfortable. Location was perfect. Quiet area despite Destin having so many spring breakers. We walked our 2 dogs daily as the path along the beach is just outside of the complex. It was very nice to have the option of both the pool and the beach since we did have some cooler/windy days. Can’t wait to return again in the future.

It met all our expectations! The only thing we had a snake that lived up and under the font door between the step and siding! That made us so uncomfortable. We were afraid it would come into the house! I accidentally left my HDMI cord. We left your place as we found it! We cleaned before your housekeepers came.

Last Minute Vacation Plan Change!

Our vacation site cancelled the night before we were to leave the next morning and we were already packed! We were desperate to find a place for our family of 4 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs that was accessible as one of the adults uses a wheelchair for long distances. We found this listing and honestly thought it was too good to be true but took the chance. We are so very happy we did! We absolutely love the cottage as the 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were exactly what we needed! We were so impressed with the cleanliness, access to the beach, the quiet complex and beautiful pool. During these crazy times of sheltering at home, we were very comfortable sheltering in the cottage and fixing almost all of our meals there as the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Needs cleaning

In desperate need of a deep cleaning including walls, doors, baseboards. All carpets need replacing. Couches need replacing. Under beds & behind tables & under couches were not clean. Washer & dryer look old. Was not thoroughly cleaned at all. They did offer to send housekeeping back, but this needed more than just surface cleaning. Stayed one night instead of a week. Offered to send photos of how it looked but she said that wouldn’t be necessary. Disappointed because this was our family vacation but thankful we received refund. Had to go through Vrbo to receive our lodging taxes back.

So close to the beach!

This is a great location with a semi private beach resort feel. The cottage includes two beach chairs and umbrella. The pool was also nice and had shaded areas. The house was terrific and the bedrooms generously sized. Seeing nearby communities, this was definitely the best one!

We had a great stay in this cute cottage. There were a few things that needed updating or fixed, but it was a comfortable stay. The blinds in the upstairs bedroom with the twin beds are broken and the sun gets through the broken slats, so that was annoying. The lights on the upstairs patio are burned out, so we didn’t have lighting. The kitchen table could use repainting and the washer and dryer are on it’s last leg. It took two to three cycles to dry towels and heavy clothes fully. The kitchen is great with all the necessities needed for cooking in. The bedding could be updated, but the beds were comfortable. This cottage is set back far enough that you have some peace and quiet, but close enough for a quick walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are amazing! I would definitely rent this cute cottage again-love the space and location! Thank you so much for a great week! We really enjoyed it!

Nice Pet-Friendly Condo for the Price

Our trip was a little last minute and having trouble finding a pet-friendly condo that we liked. This property worked out extremely well. It is a very short walk to the beach (nice that the beach gate entrance is directly across the street). The price was reasonable compared to others. Renee and Laura were extremely communicative and helpful.

Beautiful house and community!

First, the picture do not do it justice! The house is lovely and comfortable, with plenty of towels in bathrooms, and appliances and dishes in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet, well kept and secure. The pool is large. The walk to the beach is so easy, even with kids and all the accessories! Renee and Laura were very communicative and quick to respond. We’re already talking about staying here again as soon as we can.
