Location of this home was perfect! Walking distance to the Island Queen Ferry and a short drive to Old Silver Beach. The house was great, my husband and our two toddlers had a great experience!
Cindy was the perfect host! We loved staying at her place, it was so adorably decorated and super clean. It’s well-located near the Main Street in Falmouth and about 20 minutes from the beach. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood! We would stay here again.
Cindy's place was perfect for our stay. Our group of three had a lovely time and we're already dreaming about a return trip. The location is great (an easy walk to Main Street restaurants/bars, a doable walk to the beach), the place is super-comfortable, and the neighborhood has a lot of quiet charm. Thank you, Cindy!
I was super happy with the cleanliness of the property! Everything was easy to use, find, understand. The owner was very nice and helpful and responded crazy fast.
There were 3 of us (me, my spouse and a friend) and so the 2 bedrooms worked out perfectly! The house is very charming, a little small but we didn't need a large space for just 3 of us. The location is perfect; downtown Falmouth is within walking distance, as is the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and even Surf Drive beach isn't that far either. We enjoyed our stay here, in this clean and cute Cape house.
Perfect Little Cape Cod Home -Close to all the action
Host was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Such a charming home with thoughtful Kitchen /Bathroom Supplies. Chairs for the beach and firewood too.
Loved being able to cookout using the grill. Good instructions and some fun games too. The mermaid theme throughout the whole house made us smile. We were in Falmouth for a family reunion - the location was ideal!
Thank for sharing your lovely home with us Cindy.

Really enjoyed our stay. We arrived a bit early the first day and since house was already cleaned, owner allowed us to check in a few hours early. We enjoyed eating a few meals out on the patio. Such a nice private area. Internet and TV worked great while relaxing in the lovely living room during the evenings.
One suggestion for the owner, especially when the temperatures are cool enough to not need the air conditioners, is to have the screens in the windows so we could have some airflow. The ceiling fans helped alot but would have really loved having the windows open. A screen in the front door would have also been great!
Thank you so much Cindy for being such a great host!
We loved everything about it but have 2 comments/suggestions. The first is, the room with the bunkbeds is a converted garage and also serves as the main entry point of the house. We didn't need or use that space for sleeping but, I'm not sure it would have been possible anyway as it was incredibly HOT. Even with the fan, I would think it would be much too oppressive for sleeping. Though I'm not sure how this could be conveyed in the home description without sounding too negative. 2nd is the pillows. They all were the same and were thick and firm and caused 2 of us neck pains. A few different pillow types would have been nice, especially given the cost of the rental. Overall though...great place, clean, walkable to town. Paul M.
We enjoyed our stay in this adorable mermaid themed cottage. Though it’s an older home, it has updated kitchen appliances and bathroom and is absolutely immaculate with no musty smell that some older beach cottages have. The yard is beautifully decorated in the mermaid theme and was my favorite place to drink morning coffee while listening to the birds. Location to Main St is ideal. We put our name on the waitlist for Anejo restaurant (highly recommended!!) and we were able to wait the 1.5 hrs at the house instead of standing on Main St. My 2 “complaints” are regarding the window ACs and electrical outlets. The ACs in the living room and in the smaller bedroom blows directly on the couch/bed, but it was a minor issue. The 3 ACs kept the house cool. We did bring a box fan to help circulate air but there is a small fan in the linen closet provided by owner. Regarding the outlets, it’s an older home and doesn’t have many available. I had to charge my phone on the floor because the outlet in the bedroom was too far to reach the nightstand. I suggest bringing a surge protected electrical cord to reach the nightstand. Regarding communication with host, I contacted Cindy one time by email and she responded very quickly. Overall, fantastic home!
My boyfriend and I stayed at this property starting the Saturday of Labor Day weekend through the next week and worked remotely. The house is the perfect size for two people and walking distance to the main street and harbor. We normally stay in Chatham but had a great time exploring Falmouth. We never had an issue with the WiFi. The house is pretty well-stocked in terms of kitchen equipment and there are markets within walking distance. We loved our time in Falmouth!

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Disliked: Check-in
Dated, dark and noisy
Entry was via a single garage “converted” to a bunk room. This room had bunk beds in it as well as the vacuum cleaner, two large garbage containers, a barrel of old wood, with two worn out welcome mats outside. It was not welcoming and very hot and muggy inside. The home is small and dark. Linens are old, main mattress hard and uncomfortable. Sofa and both l/r chairs were stained. The master bedroom a/c is deafening as is the small a/c in living room. A clean home but worn, dark, unwelcoming we are sad to report.
TV has no local channels to view weather, etc.
My daughter and I enjoyed the cottage very much. It was truly an artsy beach house catoring to those of us who enjoy mermaids and beach themes. Cindy was prompt in responding requests and questions about area. Surf drive beach was quick drive and the village and all food areas where within walking distance. The bike path is near as well. Temperatures were really hot during our stay. We left ac units on and it kept the house cool. However one of the bedrooms was very hot and we ended up sleeping in the living room. A third window unit would be helpful.
We had a great stay in Falmouth. The cottage is an easy walk to the ferry and Main Street. Cindy was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay and only wish it could have been longer.
The house was clean and comfortable for our group of two couples. Communication was fast and efficient. We enjoyed being able to walk into town and not deal with parking. We would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at this property was just what we needed. A respite! We could walk to downtown to restaraunts and to shop. We also walked to the harbor and took the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard . Lastly, we walked to the water and sat on the beach. The air conditioners were a little noisy but did cool off the home in the evening.
Cindy was a very responsive host to any questions we had. The cottage is very charismatic with a nice large living room that felt very comfortable for 4 plus people. The teenager in the group enjoyed having his own space in the bunk room. The kitchen was well stocked with things I hadn't even thought to buy such as saran wrap and sandwich bags, which was great for packing picnic lunches for the beach. There were also beach chairs we used at the beach. The location was great for an early morning run near the beach and marina. It was also great for heading back and forth to Woods Hole. We really enjoyed hanging out in the evenings on the patio. I would stay here again.

Why they chose this property
I love this location! Once you park in the driveway you don’t have to drive again unless you want to. Great spot to get some walking in, save on gas and avoid the traffic. Although small this house has everything you need to relax and have some family fun. I love a morning walk along the harbor where you can catch a car or craft show, farmers market, concerts, hop a ferry to the Vineyard or enjoy the boats coming in. Great spot to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July! Love it!!
