Rocky Forest Cabin - Lake / Skiing / Casino / Hiking

This newly renovated three bedroom two bath house is waiting for you. Sleeps 7-8 comfortably. Borders 3,000 acres of state land (Gouldsboro State Park) perfect for hiking. Finally a place where you can spend quality time with your family.

The house is located on an acre property. Parking on property. High speed Wi-Fi 300 Mbps.

First floor:
Living room (65 inch smart tv with firestick) with sitting area, wood burning stove, dining room, fully equipped kitchen(new appliances).
Sunroom with foosball table, sitting area to drink your morning coffee.
Bedroom #1 - queen size bed
Full bathroom.
Washer and dryer.

Second floor:
Loft with pull out sleeper, TV with game consoles and firestick.
Workstation with office chair (work from home).
Full bathroom tub and shower.
Bedroom #2 - queen size bed.
Bedroom #3 - full bed and a twin bed.

Outside: Outdoor dining area for eight people.
New barbecue grill, large deck, designated smoking area, outdoor fire pit area.

All guests must check in with front gate. Never put garbage outside the house as it would attracted wild animals and create an unsafe environment for you and your guests. At the end of your stay we ask that you take all garbage bags to the container area right by the main gate. Don't leave garbage (including the garbage from bathrooms) in the house. Please be aware if you leave trash (inside or outside the house) when you depart there will be a $100 fine Minimum. The cleaning fee is for general cleaning only, any cleaning beyond that you will be charged $150 extra (possibly more if necessary).

Community Rules - will be emailed upon application approval. Please read and understand all the rules. You as the guest will be responsible for any fines/ violation.
*Guest have the option to purchase daily, weekly or weekend passes to use all of Big Bass' amenities . This include the beach ,gym ,indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, splash park and many more .Daily passes per person
-weekdays -$8, weekend-$10)
-weekly passes per person effective seven days from date issued(non-holidays $30,holiday week $50)
* No noise after 10PM
* No fireworks allowed anywhere on the property. An HOA fine will be apply if fireworks are used.
* Amenities passes are requires for entry to Pools, Lakes and other locations in the community.
* Big Bass Lake requires all renters to submit a rental application no less then four day prior to arrival.
* Must be at least 25 years old to book this property.
* This property features outside security cameras, they do not look into interior spaces(cameras are for security reasons only)
*The speed limit within the community is 25 m.p.h., and it will be strictly enforced.

Beautiful and relaxing get away

We had a truly wonderful vacation. This was the nicest property we have stayed at in the Poconos. There were many thoughtful touches, excellent communication and a beautiful inviting home. We really hope to come back again soon!

Beautiful and relaxing

This property has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. We saw wildlife and went on walks twice a day with our 2 dogs. Spoke to several of the neighbors who made us feel welcomed. Kasper was very punctual with responding to our calls or text messages. Hope to be able to travel back to this area in the future.

Summer Family Reunion

My family and I gathered here for a family reunion before the end of summer - Absolutely gorgeous. Very clean, well organized, owners were very informative on community activities and very responsive. The home is equipped with lots of activities along with indoor and outdoor space for children. Very cozy and the home offers privacy from surrounding neighbor. We could not have asked for anything more… we will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend!

Rocky Forest Cabin

My family had a very nice stay at this beautiful home - quiet, clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the AC kept the home nice and cool. The variety of games provided was a nice bonus which even my adult children could enjoy as well as the very inviting fire pit area with festive lights and everything needed was also provided to enjoy. Kasper stayed in contact offering any assistance needed. I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property was more than we could’ve asked for. The house was extremely clean, stocked with necessities, had plenty of games, tons of space, and had lots of natural light. Kasper the owner went above and beyond making sure to answer any silly questions we may have had throughout our stay. Our weekend trip to the mountains to snowboard was filled with tons of laughter. We can’t thank this owner more for giving us a perfect weekend away. We can’t wait to book again and spend more time together at this property!

Amazing Getaway!!!!

More than we could’ve asked for!! The property is so beautiful and has every amenity you could dream of. The game room kept the kids entertained all week! We actually had to pull them out for excursions! Close to the lake and shopping centers. Owners were extremely accommodating and welcoming!! 100% recommended!!! We’ll definitely be back!! 10 stars!!!

Our stay was great except for the beds. They were to hard. That is my one and only critique. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at this house immensely. The air conditioning works wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Kasper was a pleasure to deal with. Always answered me in a timely matter. Great place to stay.

Relaxing Family Getaway

This was my family’s first time staying altogether up in the Poconos. This property was nicely located in a cul de sac so it gave my family space to play outdoor games they had, basketball, and ride scooters! The fire pit area was so fun at night. It was well lit, lots of firewood, and nice views of the woods behind us. We were able to grill outside and use the spacious kitchen inside for family meals. The loft space and living room provided us ample room to hangout together, play games, and watch movies. I like that the property was only a quick 5 minute drive from Big Bass Lake and that we had access to the pools, lake, and water sports there. Kasper, the owner, was very communicative and timely in his responses. He answered all my questions as they came up and provides a beautiful home well equipped with everything you need. My family would love to make this a tradition next year!

Great Property!

Our recent stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures made our experience truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the communication with the host was exceptional. They were prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, making us feel valued and well taken care of even before our arrival. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by its immaculate cleanliness. It was evident that the hosts put a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. It felt as though we were the first guests to ever set foot in the house. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene provided us with peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Furthermore, the thoughtful touches and amenities provided by the host truly made us feel welcome. The abundance of towels and toiletries available, we felt like every detail had been carefully considered. It's these small gestures that go above and beyond that truly set this VRBO apart from others. The house itself was beautifully appointed, with a comfortable and stylish interior. The furnishings were of high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Relaxing Thanksgiving Getaway

First off the owner was over and above wonderful in terms of communication and helping to clarify what was at the house etc! The home was decorated with fall items which was such a nice touch for the holiday. We cooked a full Turkey dinner and the kitchen was very well stocked with items you only use once a year. The outside fire pit area was wonderful and this would be amazing in the summer! We had a great fire in the fire pit. The house backs up to all woods so while you have a house on either side ( not on top of each other) you have total nature view in the back. Great place to take a walk but be ready for uphill one way:) Towels, sheets, toiletries, detergents were all included. Plus two great tvs and a big comfy couch for watching football. This was a great place for the five of us!

A wonderful time

I’ll begin by saying our relaxing family getaway was filled with so much laughter with family. From, playing foosball and checkers to reminiscing with my family. The idea of TVs not being in the bedrooms allowed an intimate gathering of everyone. The nearby activities were fun… fishing, pool, beach and casino. We are looking forward to staying again. This house was such a pleasure to book.

Great house and location!

The house is great! It looks recently renovated. Very comfortable and clean. Loved the natural light all around it. The backyard with the fire pit is great! Nice, quiet location. We enjoyed walking with our small dogs around the area. The house is close to several lakes with small beaches, the Gouldsboro and Tobyhanna state park. This house is great for families! Lots to do with kids in the area. The owner was very helpful and quickly answered all of our questions. We will return for sure.
