Palms of Wailea #1605 It is an elegant ground floor, tropical garden view 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a fully-stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, partial air conditioning, and complimentary wifi. The primary bedroom suite is luxurious with a separate soaker tub situated near the California King bed for ultimate relaxation. It also provides a Smart TV so you can catch some entertainment before retiring for the night. The en suite bathroom includes a shower. You can conveniently access your spacious lanai directly from your bedroom or from your living room. The guest bedroom is equipped with a celing fan and a queen bed. The well-appointed living room in Palms at Wailea #1605 supplies a cable television and a queen sofa bed, and the lovely dining table is the perfect location for celebratory meals. Included in the unit are beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for your memorable beach days. This unit sleeps 6.

** Important Notice: The pool area will be closed Sept. 15-18, 2026, for annual maintenance. The nearest white sandy beach is a short 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the Palms at Wailea entrance. **

Another great stay at the Palms at Wailea

We stay here every year and haven't had a bad experience yet. This time we had a sewer problem which ended up being caused by a tree that was removed but remaining roots had caused a clog and was coming up in the bathrooms. Rentals Maui acted quickly and got Beau (property manager?) on the job and it was fixed in 24 hrs with really not much interruption. So grateful!

Good family vacation spot

We found this property on short notice when looking for a spring break destination for our family. We have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and they had lots of fun playing in the yard, the house, and the pool. The downside of this place is there is no central A/C. That wasn't a huge issue since there is A/C in the master bedroom and the spare room has two fans. It's walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

There is only AC in the master bedroom; some ants in the condo; refrigerator shelf was broken; no shampoo, conditioner or condiments. However, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils; very clean with comfortable bed; great location and awesome covered patio area. I would recommend the property but beware of the AC limitations. The second bedroom guests were hot. Thank you!

Property was clean, and in a nice quiet location. The pool was nice, and relaxing. Parking is right in front of unit. Air conditioning is set in main bedroom, so the other rooms don't get the full advantage of the AC. The other rooms did get warm, but manageable with the available fans.

Wonderful Stay

The location was very low key … It wasn’t on the water but the neighbor was very quiet and peaceful, just what the doctor ordered. There are some stairs unfortunately I missed that during the initial booking. The furniture was very dated, The bed’s slept very good. The house arrangement was a little weird because the electrical sockets were very low to the floor including the light switches. But overall wonderful stay. Thanks for the stay.

A lot of road noise. Would not let us rent golf carts, no place to plug in. Harassed by upstairs guest regarding smoking. Unit needs major upgrade and some repairs. Other than that, Maui did not disappoint.

Not a single cushion anywhere, not in living space, not on new outdoor lounges. In general, not comfortable and poor lighting didn't help.

Great Spot in Wailea

We really enjoyed our stay at The Palms in Wailea. Check in was very simple and straight forward and the home was well stocked with bedding, towels and dishes. We spent most of our evenings out on the patio watching all of the birds and enjoying the scenery. The pool and hottub area were a nice break from the ocean after a day of diving. The only downfall we found was that the place needed to have a deep clean done as there were quite a few dirty hand prints from little ones over the walls and the floors could have used a really good scrub. There were rocks that were collected underneath one of the night stands in the spare room and dust bunnies and small pieces of garbage under beds and in the pullout couch. There were no general cleaning supplies in the unit so we grabbed a few things to clean the counters and table, neither showed obvious dirt or stains but it's nice to be able to keep the place tidy while you're there as well as when we did initially wipe the counters they appeared quite dirty on the rag.

Palms in Paradise

We spent 15 days in paradise and the unit worked very well for us. The property is gorgeous with a beautiful pool area and grills located throughout the property. Our specific unit was very clean and well maintained. The best part was the outdoor living area...it is huge with two separate dining areas and a lounge space. We loved how close we were to many restaurants, shopping and the beach is a short ten minute walk from this unit. A few things that stopped it from being a 5 for us:1) In the listing it said the pool was open untl 10, however it was only open until 9. This was a deciding factor for us in choosing a unit and we were pretty disappointed.2) The pool was pretty chilly and several days the hot tub was not heated.3) We had a few tiny ants in kitchen---not serious at all, but just noting this.4) The sofa bed was unusable---very, very uncomfortable. We had to run out the night we got there to get an air mattress and that worked fine for us.**One important thing to note is that there is only air conditioning in the master bedroom. The listing does state this, however some of the nights were toug sleeping cuz we didn't want to keep windows open on a first floor unit.Many, many pros:* lots of extra pillows for beds* included many beach items (chairs, umbrellas, etc) including many beach towels* Kitchen well stocked inc. extra spices and oils in kitchen*Good condition*Good Communication---Host responsive Overall: 4.7
