Nestled among the trees, this lovely condo, combines the tranquility of the mountains' gorgeous views with an ideal walking-distance location to quaint Downtown Banner Elk. This upstairs unit opens to a wrap-around balcony with space to enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the sunset. Comfortable living space, kitchen, 3bd, 2bth, washer/dryer Private parking-2 vehicles on site. New: A/C and Heating system! If it is too cold or too hot, we got you covered!
A full wall of windows brings in natural light and a great view.
The open area includes the living room with a sofa and long chair for you and your party to relax and watch a movie using the smart TV. Or maybe to have some fun playing board games available for the whole family!
The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking and at the coffee bar you will find a variety of coffees and teas to use in the Keurig coffeemaker.
The master bedroom has an in-suit small full bathroom with a shower and washer and dryer machine.
The second and third bedrooms are located at the end of the condo next to each other and the second full bathroom with a bathtub. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are comfortable for a good night sleep!
Linens, towels and toiletries are provided.
There is a desk in the third bedroom that allows you to work away from distractions.

Great get-away for our family!

We enjoyed staying here for our ski trip to NC. Its location is perfect in downtown banner elk. It's so close that we could walk to dinner! It's also a great location for anyone wanting to ski both Beech and Sugar Mountain as we did. Our family of 5 was very comfortable here.

Great communication, Excellent Host, Needs Update

The host was very gracious and thoughtful. The place was clean. The entire check in/out process was easy. Instructions were very clear. They even had "extras" of things we forgot, which came in super handy. You could walk to town. It's up a hill, but not overwhelming... Only a few nitpicks: The pillows were not good. The towels and washcloths were not good. The fireplace didn't work. The shower was incredibly small (I'm an average sized person). It is an older cabin. It could use an update.

Great find and terrific location!

This is a well-appointed unit that was clean and suited our needs just right. Only a couple notes: parking is very much a challenge so bring the smallest vehicle you can get away with and the TV could be a little bigger. Otherwise, a really great place and nice stay.

Mountain R&R

Everything was great from the drive in to the host and the property. The condo was 2 short blocks from downtown. You can see the town from the balcony and at night it lights up like a Christmas village. It was cute. We were in for a quick getaway to relax and we did just that. We drove up beech mountain to Fred’s Deli and we visited the Banner Elk winery. All were Amazing! We will be back. Thanks Lillian for everything!

Amazing winter visit

Our family had an amazing winter visit. The condo was clean a spacious for the four of us. Close to food and the 2 ski resorts. Lillian was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She was an amazing host. We will be back for sure.

We have always loved the mountains in North Carolina! And having a place so close to many nature trails, skiing resorts, and in the middle of a charming town like Banner Elk, makes relaxing very easy. My husband and I want to open our home-away-from-home to any travelers who enjoy the mountains the way we do!

What makes this property unique

The location of our condo is ideal for families, couples and groups of friends that look to be close to nature and enjoy the mountains: hiking, skiing, water rafting, etc. but also like to dine out, shop and enjoy cultural activities offered in town. The best of both worlds!
