This Beautiful property, built in 2002 and purchased by the current owner in 2004, is centrally located in the heart of Eden Utah. This home was built to simulate the feeling of a warm ski lodge with rustic timbers and grand stone fireplaces. The home is also furnished and designed to create a sense of comfort and luxury. The house is large enough to find yourself in a secluded corner reading a book or congregating in one of the large common rooms or spacious balconies talking about that amazing Utah Powder. There is plenty of parking in the secluded circle and driveway. The main balcony offers breath taking views of the surrounding mountains as well as the glistening lake. The master bedroom is spacious and has a private balcony offering equally spectacular views. The master bath relaxes with a jetted tub as well as a double sided fireplace. The three bedrooms upstairs each have private bathrooms and walk in closets. The additional three bedrooms downstairs offer spacious sleeping quarters and warm cozy linens.
Technology need not be left behind when visiting this beautiful retreat. Three flat panel TVs are located throughout the home with a large 1080p LED in the theater room downstairs. Additionally, there is WIFI, and a DVD/VCR.
Enough about the house. With all the outdoor activities that the Eden area has to offer, you won't be spending all your time inside. The home is located only 10 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Resort, and 25 minutes from both Powder Mountain and Snow Basin (site of 2002 Olympic downhill ski run.) With over 70 inches of snow at the house each year, there are numerous opportunities for sledding and cross country skiing. During the summer months, the area offers mountain biking, golf, boating and hiking. Also, only 60 minutes from both Park City, Deer Valley and Salt Lake City, the house is close enough to go shopping, go see a movie, or delight in the fine dining that the larger cities have to offer.

This place had everything for our ski vacation and was near Snowbasin and Powder Mounfain. We had amazing views, great comfortable bedrooms and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large conveniently located beautiful home for friends or family.
We loved the house. It had plenty of room for our group. We loved the theater, the ping pong table, the decks and the view. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. This is a great place to stay.
Our family stayed there for our annual
ski trip. Colby was very helpful from booking to checkout. The house was beautiful and so spacious. We will definitely be back!!
This is our 2nd post Christmas stay here and was even better than the first. The house fits our large family needs perfectly and Colby is a very accommodating and accessible host. The access to various ski resorts is unmatched and this year we also took advantage of visiting the Crystal Hot Springs and the Hardware Elk ranch. Lots of great memories made for both the kids and adults.
We rented 3 different homes in the area for our family reunion. This home served well as a place where we could meet as a group for evening devotionals and meals. The kitchen was large and worked well except that the dishwasher did not work. We have rented it again for next year.
We encountered a few problems. First, there are not nearly enough towels and washcloths. and many of those are there are not regular good cotton towels. At the other rentals we used there were plenty of towels left in the bathrooms plus many others in a closet that we could access. The Internet did not work at first, but got repaired. However, it is still very slow. The downstairs refridgerator
in the garage was not working. We did not know that and we lost a whole bunch of meat that had been prepared for evening meals. We had to go into Ogden and buy more. we found out later that the breaker was off for the refrigerator freezer , but of course we did not know that. We could also also use more soap, etc. in each of the bathrooms. We like the large kitchen and family room area and enjoy the bedrooms, etc. it just seems like it needs to be furnished with more supplies and have things checked out Before renters arrive if you are serious about renting it out.
We LOVED our week long stay here! The pictures do NOT do it justice! The views were absolutely gorgeous! Our children experienced their first snowfall right in that backyard! Colby got back to us quickly to answer questions. We can’t say enough about our wonderful time together here! If you’re on the fence about booking this property, look no further! Go ahead and do it!
The property is a bit dated but is made up for by a great location near powder mountain. Very old school ski area. Hit it before it becomes really popular it is well worth the effort
Large home on the road to powder mountain. Plenty of room for our large group. Well-furnished and close to everything. Colby is easy to work with and made our experience easy and fun. Great place for a wonderful ski week! Highly recommend this home.
Great location. Furniture is dated especially beds. Could use an electronic lock so all guest have a code. Garage access code would be nice or opener. Wash cloths and hand towels are needed. Coffee table and end tables in LR would also be nice.
Our ski group gets together every year and we always look for a house with plenty of space, access to the mountains and all the comforts that we might need for the week. This house fit the bill on all accounts. Colby Lewis was very easy to work with and really made the house easy to arrange.
We had the most wonderful time at this lovely cabin. I feel like the photos just don't give you a sense of how nice this place is. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for this family vacation with kids, an infant, and several adults. We can't wait to visit again next year!
The house had all the space we needed for our large group. We took advantage of the extra mattresses and one person made up a bed in the entertainment room. There were plenty of blankets, sheets and towels. Very helpful.
The house is decorated with some very nice antique items that make the home have charm but I was nervous about any of them getting damaged and made my family be cautious.
My family did not like that none of the rooms had enough window shading to block out light if desired. It was very bright and the views are wonderful but there is not way to completely manage how much light is in each room.
My family is picky about pillows and recommended bringing your own if sleeping in the basement.
I loved the location, the views and the cozy fire place. The kitchen is very spacious. The mud room and the laundry room area was ideal for us coming and going skiing.
Spacious home.
Furnished w all the necessities you need.
Big back deck w beautiful views!
Very relaxing and enjoyable.
We had a wonderful holiday getaway!
The house was very nice and the owner was great to work with. Thx

About the host

I am a retired doctor. I live in NZ 6 mos out of the year and in Utah for the other 6 mos. I love golf and skiing. I also have a large family with 25 grand kids with whom I love to spend free time.
Why they chose this property
I have always loved the mountains and the fresh air that is available in the Eden area. The proximity to golf and skiing only adds to the list of perks to this property. The home is large enough that I can have all my kids and grandkids over without feeling cramped.
What makes this property unique
Having the Golf Course close and the ski resort only 15 minutes away is a huge plus to owning this property. The lake is about 15 minutes away in the summer or for ice fishing during the winter. Eden is in a secluded and largely under-commercialized area of northern Utah giving the feel of a true skiing vacation without sacrificing luxury and comfort. It is not uncommon to receive 5 to 6 feet of snow at the house which leads to great sledding.
