This house is amazing! There are so many fun things to do that you don’t want to leave to explore the beach. It’s the perfect set up for multiple families. The multiple decks are great for watching the sunrises and sunsets. We will be back!

Wow! This house was perfect for our family trip. From the minute I booked the house the host was very accommodating. The house: extremely clean! Sleeping arrangements were great. Plenty of bathrooms/showers which is great with a large group. The outdoors: extremely comfortable, spacious, and had tons of fun activities!! The paddle boards, kayaks, fishing, pool…all of the kids (2-18 yrs old) had a blast!!! We will definitely be returning next summer.

We had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities at the house as well as the location!! We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels, and the supply of a few basic necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry detergent, salt and pepper, coffee filters, etc,) made our stay very comfortable.

Poppy's Paradise was fantastic. What a beautiful place! Our experience from beginning to end and each day in between was perfect. Our host, Matt, was responsive, accommodating, understanding, and most of all friendly. He checked on us every day to make sure our needs were met and we were happy. When we arrived, we had a box of goodies on the counter along with a cheesecake from a local Rockport bakery. Every detail was thought of. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The assortment of coffee syrups were an unexpected pleasure. The outdoor living space was phenomenal. Our family from the colder states truly appreciated the swimming pool as well as the big screen TV. Thank you to Matt and Christie for making our stay in Rockport memorable.

Wow...they have taken great care and put some thought into the needs and comfort of their guests. From cleanliness to ALL amenities exactly as listed, Poppys was one of the best if not the best rental we have ever stayed at in the Rockport area when it comes to relaxation and entertainment. Matt was our point of contact and man he is great. He was very helpful and did an awesome job checking in on us to be extra sure we had everything we needed. It truly is a vacation oasis with kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and fishing at your fingertips. I cant say enough good things. Great job Poppys!!!

We loved the space and enjoyed the outdoor upgrades! You might want to check the fishing light because when you turn it on, it trips the breaker. Also please check the outlets in the master bathroom as they were not working.

Wonderful and Relaxing Stay

We were there for the Humane Society Spring fundraiser as part of the decorating committee. The house was perfect as a work space and as a relaxing reward. Wonderful for coffee in the morning out on the deck and a glass of wine in the evening. Even though we were working, we were able to have fun as well!

Weekend Getaway

Loved this property. Great access to the water and the owners provide paddle boards and kayaks for use on the canal. Extremely clean and spacious. Owners were communicative and delivered a full bottom of propane so we could enjoy the grill. Would definitely rent again.
