Great place! The stay was comfortable. The place was clean. No issues with management. They were very attentive to our questions. Overall great trip. Thank yoy.
Beautiful scenery and a clean, comfortable home with everything we needed. Kyle was an attentive host who made us feel the success of our visit was important to him. We love this area and would love to return to this location 👍👍👍
This place was perfect for our family. Everything we needed to get by was there
Renting this property was easy. Close to so many things to see and do. Also, the owners or their representative stayed in touch with us our whole stay. Excellent experience and we made so many wonderful memories
We have no complaints about this place! Everything went well, check in and out was easy, the house was clean and very close to the water. I would recommend this place to everyone.
The house and location were great. The balcony was very big with a great view. The propane tank was empty, and after letting Dani the property manager know they had someone there in about 1/2 hour to take care of it. Family friendly
Renting was an easy process. Got lock codes before we arrived and owner was pretty responsive on any issues that came up. The lake was down the short street, down a trail and you are there. Or walk a little north to the boat ramps. As far as parking we were able to squeeze 2 toyota tacomas and a Honda hatchback in driveway without blocking shared driveway. Everyone was happy with this rental.
Stayed here with another family. It's a nice place. You can tell it's a newer VRBO because it's lacking some basic kitchen supplies. Large bowls, pizza pan, large cutting board, little things that older vrbo's have. Great communication from the owner when needed. I would like to mention that it has a steep driveway. Also, there are a good amount of steps to get to the main living area. The converted garage into a game room is a great addition. We rented a boat for the day and having access to the dock is also a plus. We would stay here again.
We had a really enable time at Bass Lake as a family. We enjoyed being able to spend short periods on the lake and then hang out at the house. Quite neighborhood, great marina with private launch and slip, small town near by and 10min trip to larger grocery. You will need to drive to lake, no great walking option from the house. House was really clean and exactly as the pictures showed. Kids enjoyed the games. Communication during visit seemed to be with someone that didn't know the property well. Issue with fire detector not really resolved. Lake can get very busy and many boat/jet ski renters so you need to be vigilant.
Home was listed as a 4 bedroom plus a Game room. When we arrived at the house, it was only 3 bedrooms and a game room, so they were counting the game room as one of the bedrooms. The game room was separate from the house so the only way to get to the house or a bathroom was to go outside and up the stairs- fine for a game room, but not for a bedroom. Said it slept 11, however there were only 3 beds (king, queen, and full) and a day bed with a trundle in the game room. They were counting a sectional sofa in the living room with no pull out couch and an air mattress as beds. And the kitchen was not stocked to accommodate 11 people. Found a half drank baby bottle, full granola bar and half eaten apple sauce squeeze pack in the couch where we had to sleep and lots of trash around the outside. No window coverings, so house was unbearably hot during the day with after market air-conditioning units that could not keep up with the heat. When we notified owner of the issues after we returned from our trip, he basically put it on us that there was nothing he could do if we didn't notify him while we were there, however there was no way he could have fixed the bedroom, amount of beds, and excessive heat in the house issue while we were there, which were the main issues. We also didn't feel like dealing with someone coming to take care of the other minor issues during our vacation, so unhappy with the owner's communication.
Fortunately, we had tons of fun at the lake and the house was very nicely decorated, fun game room and great location and beautiful views to enjoy after sun went down and in the morning. And hopefully the issues that we had will be fixed in the future so eventually the house will be a great place to stay.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Ultimately a good start, but a rocky start.
Location was pretty good. We utilized the available boat slip, that was convenient, but I imagined it being closer from the pictures. Not feasible to walk to the dock everyday because of the busy road you have to cross.
Cleanliness was shockingly bad. It was obviously there was a quick turnover from the previous guests. The management was very helpful in trying to accommodate and rectify the issues, but in the end I suggested they fire their cleaning crew.
- Air conditioner was broken/poorly wired in upstairs room. Was on a first name basis with their maintenance man... super sweet guy. (Shout out to our new "Uncle Kenny!" )
- old food left in sink
-laundry lint (like someone habitually just tosses off the balcony when they clean it out) and garbage off balcony
- hair and stained sheets- had to do loads of laundry to ensure clean sheets/towels for 10 people in our group.
- wet bath mats just hung over the rods to "air dry"
-used wet towels refolded and put back on shelf (EW!)
- 1 extra roll of TP in entire house
-hand soaps were all near empty, found refills ourselves under the sink.
- no pasta strainer (limited kitchen supplies in general)
- Dirty/slippery rugs in kitchen (MIL slipped/tripped many time)
- playroom door wouldn't latch and we had to remove the strike plates in order to get it to close and lock.
- Kitchen door to balcony didn't lock
-Beautiful light fixture over the dining table, but non of the switches turned it on.
-No curtains/shades on windows and with the afternoon sun, the living room/dining room were un-useable. We set up our pop-up outside on the balcony to try to create some shade on the inside.
-4 empty propane tanks
Like I said, management was in constant communication with us and they Insta-carted all the items we needed (and even cupcakes too) in record time. They offered to send the cleaning crew back out (which we declined), maintenance man Ken was lickety-split with arriving to help us with issues and fix the AC. So we are pleased with the outcome of our stay, but as my title suggests, it was a rocky start.
They seem to need to get a few kinks worked out.
Oh! Also, the neighbor is not a fan of renters.
We walked in from a long hot car ride to a wonderfully air conditioned house. Well kept, well stocked and very welcoming. Like the house, the view is beautiful, but being on the dock and playing the in water was unbeatable. We rented a boat, ate dinner at Ducey’s one night, got the kids ice creams and enjoyed some live music. We cooked the other nights the kitchen was easy and stocked with what we needed. The hosts checked in to make sure all was good and were responsive to my questions. 5 stars!!! Would definitely stay here again!
