South Shore Edgewater Estate

This waterfront home on 70 feet of private Great Sacandaga Lake beach frontage is the perfect place for your vacation. Across the street of this stunning property, you will find your own private beach area with a fire pit, boat dock, kayaks, paddle boards and outdoor lawn furniture. End your nights relaxing by the fire or start your day enjoying swimming, fishing, and kayaking. **Dock, kayaks and paddleboard use are available (weather permitting) Mid May until after Mid September weekend.
During the winter months enjoy skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling throughout thousands of miles of endless trails.

The Lake front area across the streat is very accessible and flat, which is hard to come by on The Great Sacandaga Lake. The property comes with a 80' docks that can be used by guest during their stay. Please inquire about boat sizes so we can ensure to accommodate your watercraft appropriately. The waterfront is sandy and has gradual grade into the water so it perfect for families with small children to enjoy.

The estate itself is a cozy 6 bedroom, 2.5 bath property that is perfect for large group retreats. This multi-family property that easily sleeps14 people (16 with approval) comfortably and the property is divided into 2 separate living areas as described below.

The first unit is a large 4-bedroom, 1-full bathroom home we call the South Shore Edgewater Chalet. (Sleeps 8 guest) Walk through the front door into a spacious 1st Floor living room, where you will find queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. As you work your way through the first level, you will find a dining room table, fully loaded kitchen, and high top breakfast bar. As you walk up the stairs to the second level you will find a laundry room for guest to use through out their stay. If you work your way down the hallway there are 2 bedrooms with queens sized beds that lead to the second floor balcony over looking the amazing lake views. As you continue down to the end of the hallway on the right side is a full bathroom. Directly across from the bathroom there is another set of stairs that leads to the 3rd level that include 2 additional bedrooms with both equipped with queens sized beds. The living room along with all the bedroom have televisions and Rokus that are set up with Hulu to enjoy your favorite shows after long day on the lake.

The second unit is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-full bath and 1 half bath home we call the South Shore Edgewater Loft. (Sleeps 6 guest) As you walk through the front door you will find yourself in the first floor entryway. If you head left up the stairs it will take you to the loft. As you enter the loft you will be in the open kitchen, dining and living room area, where you will find a queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. Towards the back of the loft you will find a large full bathroom and laundry room. Directly across from the full bathroom is the master bedroom outfitted with a queen size bed and huge walk-in closet to store plenty of luggage for longer stays. If you head back downstairs there is a large bedroom that has 2 bunk beds. This is very large bedroom that we have set up as a kids bunk room.

To access the living areas, you will need to be able to climb at least 1 flight of stairs. There is no access to the garage, but there is ample parking at the property in the driveway.

Extra Costs:
There is an extra guest fee of $25 per night after 14 guest.
This Property is pet friendly, and requires a pet fee $50 per stay to cover your four-legged guests.

35-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Horse Track and Casino. 40-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts. 45-minute drive to Lake George and the Six Flags Great Escapes. There are numerous hiking trails to be explored all throughout the Adirondack Mountains. (Download All Trails App on Mobile Device) Spend the day walking the cute little villages of Northville and Broadalbin both only a short 15-minute drive. Endless restaurants, golf, shopping, and local festivals all 4 seasons of the year. There is boat and snowmobile rental within 1 mile at the Edinburgh Marina. 40-Minute drive to Gore Mountain Ski Resort. 30-Minute drive to West Mountain Ski Resort. In the winter months the lake freezes over and has some of Update New York’s best ice fishing!
