About this property

Hiking, swimming and experiencing nature at Lake Twistesee

The holiday home "little time out" promises a feel-good atmosphere and cosiness. Built entirely of wood and with a large, individually designed living-dining area, every guest feels at home. The corner bungalow "little time out" is located in the holiday park on Lake Twistes, right next to the lake. The piece of land is only 200 meters away from the lake. The house is very quiet on the edge of the park and directly on the forest path that leads to the lake shore. Due to the slope, the small garden is embedded in the treetops of the forest, which extends around the Twistesee. The hilly landscape is equipped with numerous hiking trails that provide wonderful insights into almost untouched nature. The lake is surrounded by one of these paths away from traffic noise and traffic. After a few minutes' walk you can reach the sandy beach, which invites you to swim on warm days. Two bars right on the lake quench the thirst and hunger of hikers and water lovers. A water ski facility directly below the holiday park also brings fun for young and old. The park offers other activities such as mini golf, tennis and playgrounds. The golf course is within walking distance. If you want to linger on the water, you will find a boat rental and a dog meadow for swimming with your four-legged friends in addition to the bathing beach. There is even a separate bathing area for nude bathers. For culture lovers, Bad Arolsen with its baroque castle is worth a trip. Just a few minutes away by car you will find everything for daily needs and much more in Bad Arolsen. If you have time, visit the Edersee with its Waldeck Castle and the climbing park, the zoo and numerous bathing and water sports activities. You will see that there is a lot to see. We look forward to you.
