Forest bungalow on Lake Twistesee

We rent our idyllic holiday home, which is located in the holiday park on Lake Twistesee. At the beginning of the 1980s, a local recreation area was created on Lake Twistesee, a reservoir that had been created shortly before. All houses were built in the Scandinavian style, either as "Nurdach-Haus" or as a log house and have a rustic charm.

The house has been lovingly renovated and maintained over the years. It has 2 bedrooms, 1x 1 double bed, 1x 2 single beds. A large sofa bed in the living room offers space for another guest. A bathroom with shower, an open kitchen and a cozy dining area complete the offer.

We are very animal-loving and our two dogs are regularly in the house, so this ad is aimed especially at animal lovers and people who are close to nature and do not need much luxury!

The Twistesee offers attractive water sports with its well-known lido, boat rental and water ski facility. The bike paths around the lake and in the area are well developed, so that cyclists or hikers get their money's worth. In the complex itself there is a mini golf course, a tennis court and a large playground with barbecue facilities as well as a badminton court and table tennis tables. There is a beautifully designed golf course right next to the holiday park.

About 3 km away is Bad Arolsen, a charming town with old half-timbered houses, a baroque castle, some nice cafés and fine dining. In bad weather there is the opportunity to use the "Arobella" leisure pool.

There are also numerous corporate goals in the surrounding area. For example, there are some thermal baths, a unique zoo (Sababurg) and Kassel is not very far away.

All in all, there are many ways to relax, play sports and switch off.

We offer our guests free WiFi.
You will be received personally on the day of arrival and asked to pay the additional costs (€ 2 per person / night) and the final cleaning fee of € 40 in cash. Dogs and cats are welcome to bring 5 € per night per animal.

Towels, tea towels and bed linen are not available.

The kitchen has a coffee machine, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a stove with ceramic hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge and a freezer.
