Detached holiday home in a quiet location, right on the Grevelingenmeer

Herkingen is a small, cozy village on the Goeree-Overflakkee peninsula. In the village (3 minutes on foot) there is a supermarket with fresh baked goods, a snack bar, 2 restaurants and a shop with boat accessories, where you can also rent bicycles. Also within a 3-minute walk you can reach the beautiful marina with restaurant, where you can watch the incoming and outgoing boats with a cozy meal or a cup of coffee. The peninsula invites to extensive bike tours and has a well-signposted bike path network. Visit cute places and nice towns that invite you to go shopping and stroll through the beautiful weekly markets. In Stellendam there is a seal breeding station that can be visited and a fishing port where the ships arrive and unload their catch early Friday morning. The fish are sorted and then auctioned off. It's worth taking a look at it. From Herkingen you can reach several North Sea beaches in 20 minutes, which invite you to take long walks on the beach. If you don't feel like driving, enjoy the wonderful location of our holiday park right on the dike of the Grevelingenmeer. In 1 minute you can reach a sandy beach where children can dig and play to their heart's content. The water remains shallow far into the Grevelingenmeer and is ideal for splashing around safely. Windsurfers and paddlers also get their money's worth here. Your detached holiday home is located in a small, quiet holiday park, relaxation and recreation are very important here.
Ground floor:
Hallway with stairs to the 1st floor and cloakroom,
Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, spacious living-dining area, dining table with 6 chairs, sofa and 2 armchairs, television (German channels), a radio with CD player.
Open kitchen equipped with ceramic hob, extractor hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, kettle.
From the living room you can access the wonderfully sunny terrace, where there is a table with garden chairs and a barbecue.
There is a shed behind the house, in which you can store your bicycles, surfing or fishing equipment (brought or rented). A car can be parked directly on the property, there are further parking spaces in the park (maximum 1 additional car)
Upper floor:
a spacious bedroom with double bed and wardrobe,
1 slightly smaller bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobe. There is still space for a guest bed in both bedrooms (not part of the rental). All rooms have shutters, the two bedrooms also have mosquito protection.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in the house and that no animals are allowed.
