Nice!

This property was as described. Was very clean & nice. It is very small but worked for us. Shower was extremely small. Larger people would struggle with it I believe. Bed was comfortable - appliances great and host responded very quickly. Close to many restaurants - walking distance and shopping. Would have enjoyed outdoor chairs that had cushions - chairs did not have any cushions & back of chairs were very uncomfortable. A nicer outdoor area would help this location to enjoy Arizona's nice days. Would highly recommend if needing a place to sleep, but not really great for sitting outside at all & spending your days at this location.

Would Not Stay Again

This is my first negative experience at a VRBO property I have used VRBO and their competitor for at least 7 years now. Im typically not one to complain so Ill list out the pros and cons of the property. Pros: newly remodeled with new appliances, most shopping needs are within a 5 min walk, everything else is a 5 min drive, pin pad entry is nice, smart tv, washer and dryer, hair dryer. Cons: very poor communication from host (we asked for clean blankets, handsoap), strong cigarette smell when we arrived, we were asked to wash laundry before checkout (no bleach, sanitze setting, or oxy to use), also required to take trash out (unclear instructions and no recycling available), gave up trying to get wifi info, candy stuck to throw blanket (beadspread is decorative and is not made to keep you warm), pillows are flat/need replaced, we asked for handsoap for the bathroom and were ignored (pump was all water and refill under sink was empty), the shower linen was so dirty it is orange, cleaning crew that showed up to clean other units was not encouraging to see as they had their name in window chaulk on a dirty car, the drain cover in the shower is not sealed and comes off, the bathroom is not designed for anyone over 5'5" as the toilet is so close to the cabinet, I'm 5'2" and was cramped washing my hair (do your shaving b4 you arrive!), there is a kurig but no k cups (coffee lovers bring your own k cups, human bean coffee is one block away), neighborhood is a little sketchy lots of late night party noises (we were there on New Years may have been a contributing factor), windows not good at keeping heat in, heater in bedroom is noisy all night, porch light burned out (hard to see pin pad when returning at night), no fire extinguisher (I looked when the fireworks started up), toilet seat pinches you as the seat is too small for the toilet, blinds in living space are too short and don't cover the last 2 inches (we used a towel to block it for privacy as it faces the parking area), listing says they provide all soaps but most containers available were empty. Our primary concern was cleanliness. One typically finds small issues at these places and the hosts are generally so helpful and responsive. We would have been able to give a more positive review had they responded at least to the sanitary requests. This place is not worth what we paid. Completed their requested feedback days ago and have heard nothing back. If you like clean, not recommended.
