The house and property are very nice and well maintained, and it has a nice view. And communications with the owner/caretakers were very good. The collection of farm animals on the property also was every enjoyable to see each day.

Perfect beach house

We loved everything about this property! The location was perfect, close to the beaches and restaurants but felt very secluded. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit to Hawaii.

Amazing location and view above Waimea Bay! We enjoyed seeing the chickens and other animals living on the property. The house is a 5 minute drive from a grocery store and coffee shop. The beds were very comfortable but some of the blankets and towels had stains. The host was very accommodating and provided us with other bedding and any other amenities we found we needed. The only thing we wished they had but didn’t was seating for 4.

Great start to family vacation

Perfect spot in paradise

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Barefoot Bungalow. It’s a perfect location for local attractions-pipeline beach to see the waves, Haleiwa, Waialua Canyon & waterfall, Dole Plantation. The house is a good size for just two people-lovely to sit outside in the evening for dinner and cozy inside for relaxing before bed.

HEAVEN ON EARTH!

This little spot was perfect! The family was so nice and welcoming, eleven bringing us eggs and bananas on the first night. The house was adorable, the pictures might not have even done it justice. Loved it here and will definitely be coming back!

Peaceful getaway

Wonderful Stay!

The Barefoot Bungalow felt like our summer cottage but on the north shore of Oahu! The communication throughout the whole check-in process was wonderful and the property itself was as described and very relaxing. Katie and Spencer were welcoming hosts and the grounds provided numerous treats to make the stay even more special!

Slice of Paradise

The perfect bungalow for anyone looking to have a quiet Hawaiian vacation on the North Shore. The property is gorgeous and the host were fantastic. Beaches and restaurants are really close, and the views at sunset are breathtaking. Food trucks and grocery story are also very close. Rental car is recommended. Will return to this property in the future.

Great Experience

We had a wonderful few days at the barefoot bungalow thank you Bria! It was just what we were looking for, somewhere we could get the local “Hawaiian” experience with loads of fruit trees and beautiful surroundings. The chickens were really fun to see wandering around and the house was just the right size. Love the interior styling of the tiny home as well! Thanks so much for our stay.

Perfect vacation

Amazing week long stay with my daughter and nanny. Loved being in a more private and quiet neighborhood. Homeowners were so kind and welcoming. Super fun to walk around the grounds with the chickens and fruit trees. EPIC north shore location very easy to get around all the main beaches.

Amazing little slice of heaven perfectly situated on the N. Shore. Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable long stay and super comfortable beds. The superbly manicured grounds, decorated with fresh fruit trees and egg laying hens, and coastal mountain climate combine to create a zen inducing atmosphere. The host was very responsive and so kind. Mahalo for making me and my wife’s first long trip away from kids memorable. Already planning to get back to this place.

Crazy how nice this place is!

My wife and I stayed here for our baby moon and it was nothing but perfect! The host was amazing and friendly. We had everything we needed and more. If you’re looking for a very peaceful little place to stay that’s close to a grocery store and all the fun stuff on the north shore, this is your spot. The fresh avocados, eggs, and other fruit were amazing for breakfast. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back!
