The hot tub is open for all Canadian long weekends, from 15th March to 7th April. Easter and Christmas through to the New Year outside of regular amenities dates. All amenities are available from May 1st to the end of October, Thanksgiving long weekend for the lower pool and amenities open, and the pool upper area near the cottage until midweek September.
The cottage backs onto crown land that offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, dirt biking, snowshoeing, etc.
The primary renter must be 25 years old and stay at the cottage throughout the booking. Between 23 and 24 will be considered; please reach out with a booking request and details.

Bedroom 2 can be made into more of an adult space as there is a double bunk bed. Change linen, remove floor twin bed, and toys and a add side table and lamp next to the double bed. Please ensure this change is requested at the time of booking so we can change the room's configuration. Please contact us for more information and also check out the photos.
Bedroom 2 can accommodate four kids/teens, two adults and two children, or a combination of four people using the double bed and two twin beds. Note one twin bed above the double bunk bed and one twin bed on the fall opposite the bunk beds (check the photos listed). Supervision is required for all minors when using bunk beds. Separate from this room is a queen and king bed.
Please note that the garage is not included in the rental; two parking spaces are available on the driveway, and extra parking is approximately fifty meters from the cottage in front of the pool and hot tub. Only two cars are permitted on the driveway at any time.
Optic TV x 2, DVD player, optic WIFI internet, portable playpen and highchair for an infant. It is beautifully decorated and comfortably fits seven people and an infant. Please note one of the twin beds is set up on the floor for a child; please check the photos for the setup. The primary renter is responsible for ensuring cottage toys are a good fit for infants/children; otherwise, please place them in a closed closet for safety and out of reach for babies, toddlers and young children. The cottage has linens, towels, bedding, a fully equipped kitchen, and more. Enjoy the resort all year round, as there is so much to do throughout the seasons (pool and hot tubs are seasonal and are open at various times; please check opening times for more details.

There are many wineries, orchards, breweries, and cheese factories throughout the Okanagan to visit. There are ski resorts and snowshoeing for the winter and horse riding and hiking trails for the other seasons. Stunning golf course within 20 and 30 minutes of the resort. A resort taxi pontoon is available for rides across to the wineries opposite the resort. Tour companies also pick up from the resorts and visit various wineries across Kelowna. For guest safety, there is a ring doorbell camera on the outside main door entrance to the house and a video camera to the left of the outside garage door. Stairs are required to climb to enter the cottage, and internal stairs to the house's second floor.
One small dog may be considered with a $100 fee per booking (non-refundable). Please reach out with the size and type of dog before booking. No animals are permitted on the premises without prior approval. Guests will be asked to remove pets, pay a pet cleaning fee of $100 for pets that are not registered, and will be asked to vacate the rental, and no refund will be issued. Absolutely no pets are allowed on furniture, bedding, or linens. Pets cannot be left in the cottage unattended at any time. The primary renter will be responsible for any damage caused by the pet and will be required to pay costs.
Seasonal hire is available for the resort's kayaks, paddle boards, and golf carts. Make sure to reserve upon booking Jasmine Cottage.
Absolutely NO smoking, vaping, drugs, or marijuana is permitted inside the cottage, on decks, or on or around the cottage property. Please note there is a $250 on top of the regular cleaning fee for any guest noted smoking on the premises, decks or at the front door landing.
All guests must be registered at the time of reservation. No add-on or surprise guests can stay during the booking time after a confirmed booking. Guests will be asked to vacate the premises with any added guests, and no refund will be provided. There will be no refunds for early departures. The resort requires a guest registration form to be completed; this will be included in the welcome package upon booking and required to be completed and returned via email.
As this cottage backs onto the provincial park, from time to time, there will be leaves, pine cone needles, etc., and occasional bugs, beetles, critters, birds etc., around as we back onto nature. There is also wildlife located in the provincial park. There is no refund for nature visiting!! The best prevention to stop these uninvited critters getting in, do not leave windows and doors open! La Casa is located among rural provincial parks, we get bugs and critters it’s normal!!
When you arrive, guests must check the cottage, report concerns within the first hour, and notify the owner to allow areas to be taken care of. Once this time period is up, no refunds will be given for last-minute cottage concerns! Guests must provide reasonable access to the cottage if any problems are to be addressed. If an emergency or maintenance requires immediate access, guests must provide access, or access will be approved under these circumstances.
If early check-in or late check-out is requested and can be accommodated due to guest turnaround times, a $30 per hour fee will be charged. Only guests noted on the original booking are permitted to stay. Any guests not listed on the original booking will be charged $30 per guest per night. The reservation will be cancelled with any authorized guests, and there will be no refunds.
Please read the welcome folder contents upon arrival, as this folder includes safety measures, cottage evacuation plans, location of items in the cottage, emergency kit and contact details, business license details, use of appliances, as well as details required to stay at the cottage and La Casa as well as suggested activities available in and around the cottage. The welcome folder is located in the kitchen, all safety equipment is available in the hallway closet opposite the laundry, and the evacuation plan of the cottage is located to the left of the front main door.
The Primary Renter is responsible for all guests invited to the property during the agreed-upon stay. No more than seven guests and one infant under one year of age are permitted during rental booking at any time during the holiday. Any guests not identified at the time of booking staying overnight must confirm with the homeowner prior to a continued stay, pay the extra guest cost, and ensure that resort bylaws are met. At no time can the guest number in the cottage exceed eight people, no matter the age of the guest. Should any fines be levied against Lot 390 during the agreed-upon rental dates, the primary renter will be responsible for penalties before the damage deposit is returned.
Please note that the contents and colours in the pictures will change occasionally, as the cottage is always in the makeover stage for guests! On occasion, items are damaged or broken and replaced as soon as possible; however, these items may need to be replaced and may change in size or appearance as quickly as possible before a new guest arrives.
Please let me know if you are bringing an electric car since there is a $5 fee per day per car to charge a car at the cottage. The cottage does not have a 220V plug for charging, only a 110V outdoor plug; therefore, the $5 fee per day is for the extra hydro requirement to charge a car.
No glitter, confetti, hair dye, tanning lotions or similar items are to be used during the stay. Any damage caused by these items when used in contravention of house rules will be charged to the primary renter to recover costs for cleaning and or repairs.
