You enter and exit to this ground floor apartment through your own private front door and/or your own private lakeside patio door. The lakeside faces west and will dazzle you with its breathtaking sunsets. The front door faces east and the morning sun glows through its semi-opaque window.

As the property has been in the family for almost 150 years, some of the early history of the City of Lindstrom is intertwined with the family's own history. An enjoyable read are the history panels with vintage and professionally taken photographs, displayed on the long wall, under the "Lindstrom Stories" sign.

Summer lake breezes and ceiling fan (when needed) easily keep the room comfortable on hot days, while Swedish infloor hydro heat keeps the place as toasty as you need, on cold ones.

There is a bedroom with sitting area, a full kitchen, and a separate bathtub/vanity room, with private toilet.

You can rely on WiFi and Internet access for your work, and for your recreation there is a wall mounted 43" SMART Roku TV visible from bed or couch or sit-in eating area.

The kitchen, with its under-the-counter refrigerator, includes a full electric self-cleaning oven and a 3-in-1 breakfast center which offers a coffee maker, toaster oven, and built-in frying pan. A microwave sits atop the counter, and pots and pans, plates and cups, glasses and utensils, are all available.

A fishing dock with built-in bench is also available from May to September --and a peaceful spot to catch the rays or a few fish to pan fry later, or just sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

The patio door to the studio is situated in such a way that neighbors, though near, cannot be seen. This bedroom community feels more secluded than it is, given that a quick half mile walk north on Elm Street, brings you into downtown Lindstrom. While a mile and half walk south on Olinda Trail brings you to Wild Cats Community Center, where a membership buys you access to a walking track, weight rooms, and swimming pool.

Two kayaks with safety vests are available for recreation.

Your studio's exterior lawn and garden are well maintained in the summer. The driveway plowed, as needed in the winter.
