We found this cute bungalow very warm and accommodating for our entire family. Especially enjoyed the big covered front porch! Sweet location to Phelps Park and downtown Decorah
Greatly appreciated the stay. House was clean, perfect for our party of 3. Thanks for the coffee and the extra beers. We would stay again if ever in the area.
The property itself was cute and the inside was well kept. Location was great for what we were looking for. The concern is the home was advertised as having air conditioning. When we checked in, the temperature upstairs where all 3 bedrooms are located was 87 degrees. The mini-split in the hallway upstairs was not able to effectively cool the upper floor. The host was not able to resolve for us - nor were we offered any discounts in spite of our inability to sleep during our 3 night stay. Go in the spring, fall or winter and you will love these accommodations!
This is a lovely property on a quiet street in Decorah, a short drive and a short walk to great trails, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here.
The house is in a very nice quiet neighborhood and was very comfortable. Access was simple and seamless. Beautiful park and hiking right across the street. We are kind of foodies and like to do our own cooking. We found the kitchen very nice but just a little lacking. It is advertised that it sleeps eight but there were only 7 forks and 5 matching bowls. All of the pots and pans were non-stick which is a bit of a PFAS concern especially when scratched.
Loved the layout, it was very relaxing to hang in the living room and front porch with our coffees. The proximity to Phelps park was great for access to trails. Would stay again!
Had a great stay! Clean and welcoming. Perfect location, a few blocks from downtown, near Phelps park. They helped us charge an electric vehicle which we appreciated so very much! Oils absolutely stay again!
Our family of four had a great stay at Jeremy and Trista's place in Decorah. Check-in and check-out were easy and clearly communicated. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all that we needed for a great stay. Would recommend!
My friend and I loved staying here for the weekend. Super clean, very spacious, and within walking distance of some nice parks and shops. Would definitely come back!
We just wanted a clean quiet get away and this little house was perfect! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Decorah. The owners made check in and check out a breeze.Absolutely recommend.
The house is spacious, clean, updated and walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved relaxing on the front porch!! Perfect for our girls’ weekend.
