Amazing home central to all the amazing Galveston attractions!
You will have everything you need in this island home! Fully equipped kitchen with a table that comfortably seats six, 65" smart TV in the living room with plenty of seating, 50" smart TV in the downstairs king bedroom suite (next to the game area and garage space), and a smart TV in the upstairs king bedroom.
Upgrade to the Golf Cart package! Six passenger gas Club Car with extended canopy coverage over the rear seats for those sunny days! Cruise the Seawall or the Strand - or just around the neighborhoods to look at all the magnificent homes. Message host if interested. Note children must be minimum 5 years old and must follow Texas DOT laws as they relate to car seats etc apply.
GOLF CART UPGRADE PACKAGE - must book the upgrade before check in day - full stays only, no daily upgrades. Note upgrading does not guarantee it will be available as sometimes unexpected maintenance and repairs are required. Upgrade amount will be refunded if booked and not available during your stay.
Refundable deposit - $200
February 1 - September 30, holiday weekends and Galveston event weekends additional $50 per night plus booking channel fee (if applicable) and hotel tax.
October 1 - January 31 additional $40 per night plus booking channel fee (if applicable) and hotel tax.
Weather event cancellations - eligible for refunds when weather or conditions result in a mandatory evacuation order or large-scale outage of essential utilities. Note June through November is considered high storm and hurricane potential season. Travel insurance is recommended - although ensure you are aware of covered conditions.
OCCUPANCY - For a comfortable stay and per the house rules, maximum allowed is six adults 18+. Maximum number of overnight guests is ten with children. Additional nightly charge of $25 per person per night for guest (including children) exceeding eight. An additional fee of $100 per guest will be charged if the number of over-night guests exceeds the number on the reservation.
Guests must be at least 25 years old to book, able to provide government issued photo ID, and have completed the verification process on Airbnb, OR have at least one five-star guest review.
PETS - fully house-trained adult dogs are allowed to a max of two and max 60 lbs each. No cats allowed. Pet fee is $50 per dog per stay. I ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard (doggie bags provided) and are in a kennel if left alone inside the home. Note the backyard is fully fenced - perfect for your furbabies!
ADDITIONAL FEES
A fee of $75 per person per night (for all nights of the reservation) in addition to the $25 per night per person, will be charged if the number of overnight guests exceeds the number on the reservation. Exceeding 10 will result in the reservation being cancelled without a refund.
An additional fee of $100 per pet, in addition to the standard pet fee, will be charged for undisclosed pets.
An additional fee of $200 will be charged for smoking inside the house either upstairs or downstairs.
Guests will have access to the entire house with the exception of a locked supply room that is in the downstairs king bedroom suite.

Galveston's Midtown, primarily a residential neighborhood, has some interesting historic properties and cemeteries, including several historic African-American churches. It is also dotted with quaint corner stores and restaurants offering a variety of great food.
Sidewalks are limited in the neighborhood, although is still walking friendly. Many locals have bicycles as they are more economical and the island is small enough to get around quite easily and quickly.
You will also find golf carts are a popular (and fun!) mode of transportation.

Why they chose this property
This house, built in 1945, caught my immediate interest. With it's expansive lot and yard, with the gorgeous gazebo and large south facing deck, with the large bedrooms, beautiful fireplace and extra large bathroom - I thought it would make the perfect island getaway for groups of friends or family!
