Third Reef is a 5-bedroom beachfront home with spectacular views of the ocean.

Located on the southern stretch of the beach, the jewel of Third Reef is the large deck providing both shady and sunny spots to take in majestic, panoramic views of the ocean, as well with a spectacular outdoor shower. Step down your private stairs to the beach. Read under the dedicated thatched umbrella, wade into the crystal clear water, snorkel in the nearby reef or simply stroll the soft sand. This is where you come to leave it all behind.

The recently renovated main house sleeps six in three bedrooms (king, king, 2 twin) with two updated bathrooms and a large open living area featuring a newly renovated kitchen.

A newly built cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms (king, king) and two shower bathrooms. The cottage is only available to rent with the main house.

A recently expanded garden-facing porch provides additional seating and an outdoor dining option as well as a ping pong table for settling family grudges.

House includes: A/C, Starlink Wifi & brand new generator as well as small but meaningful touches like All Clad pots/pans, John Robshaw duvets, a shelf of games/puzzles and lots of lounge chairs.

So tilt your hat back, pour yourself a drink and listen to the waves as you relax and recharge.

Excellent vacation for our extended family. Truly great to have everyone together and still be independent. Beach beautiful and right outside your door (and down the steps). A little windy but that made the waves fun to play in. Lucked out with a quieter day booked on a boat. Would strongly recommend Captain Kid and Son for a day to snorkel, swim with turtles and sting rays.

Gorgeous beachfront property with shady cover on porch and palapa on the beach. Beautiful decor throughout, well equipt open kitchen and outdoor grill which made meal making a fun part of vacation. The views of the ocean and beach are spectacular. Quiet location. House manager delightful and very responsive. Would love to stay here again.

We had a great time. The house was the perfect size for our family of five. Tremendous deck space and direct access to the ocean. Very continent to restaurants and shops. The manager helped us set up everything. Would highly recommend.

PARADISE!

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's house! The location is just stunning right on the beach with no visible neighbours. The layout of the house is very very convenient with a fantastic huge terrace and outdoor shower - and it all comes with a view you will never forget! Harbor Island is a cool relaxed little place with great little shops, coffee places and restaurants - you just don't want to leave. And the beach is just perfect! We definitely will be back! Just don't take Silver Airways to get there - not reliable at all.

Wonderful house with incredible views!

Third Reef was perfect for our family with two young kids. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the layout is very thoughtful. We greatly appreciated the toys and games, the large deck outside and the incredible outdoor shower! The beach is bit rocky in front and while we were there had large tides bringing up a lot of seaweed and trash - but the views from the deck more than make up for that. Great, well managed house - Alexis was very helpful. We’ll be back. Thanks Tom and Alexis!

Paradise on Harbour Island

Third Reef’s view is what comes to mind when I think of the word “paradise”. In terms of the house, no detail was overlooked. The host provides a binder filled with information — everything from places to dine, golf cart rentals, where to get more water, suggestions for how much to tip the person who cleans, to power outages, WiFi info and so much more. The host provides all toiletries (body washes, shampoos and conditioner), linens and towels (beach and bath) — it is so nice not having to travel with these bulky, and sometimes heavy, items. With regard to the outdoor deck and beach, there are more than enough beach chairs for the number of folks the house can accommodate, which is really nice if friends are also staying on the island and want to pop by and spend an afternoon on the beach with you. There is so much to do at Third Reef. . . Tons of board games, table tennis, a kayak and boogie boards. The kitchen is great, too! A private chef had everything he needed to prepare a gourmet meal. In terms if the beach, please be advised that this is a nearly untouched, natural beach so bring water shoes if you plan on going into the ocean behind the house, as the hard coral will tear your skin. To this end, the house is literally beach front so regardless of how well-maintained the property is (and it is very well maintained), the salt water and wind might cause light fixtures and anything metal to become rusty and non-functional. This is not a deterrent, but instead just a way for you to manage your plans (for example, you might not want to have a private chef set up outdoors for a dinner because the lighting is not working but instead utilize the indoor space). These types of minor issues happen to ALL beachfront homes because of the saltwater and wind. My family loved loved loved Third Reef and yours will love it, too. It’s truly amazing.
