Quiet mountain house getaway! Discounted for extended/>1 month stays (short term stays were restricted due to local ordinance requirements). Near Jim Thorpe with all it has to offer, Blue Mountain ski resort and Penns Peak. Tons of decking. Music throughout home. Huge kitchen table for dinners and games! Above the Beltzville state park/dam (Lehighton is just postal city). 15 min off Mahoning Valley exit of the Pennsylvania NE. Extension Turnpike.

Pohopco place

The stay was fine. Being a long term stay, there needs to be more storage space.

This is a beautiful, quiet retreat space. I completely enjoyed sitting on the private back deck, listening to the birds and watching the deer. There is a small lake within easy walking distance to the house which has a clean beach area and a swimming dock. The house was stocked with everything I needed. The owner was immediately responsive to my questions and also respectful of my privacy. I would stay here again.
