Our Historic 2,048 square foot, 2 bedroom and loft, 2.5-bathroom, home is within walking distance to Historic Downtown Creede. This home provides easy access to Creede's downtown, with many shops, galleries, one-of-a-kind restaurants, and the famous Creede Repertory Theater.

Our beautifully remolded home is said to have housed Creede’s old dance hall and is one of Creede's historic gems. It overlooks the charming town of Creede and is within walking distance of downtown. Enjoy stunning views of the Creede Cliffs and surrounding mountains through French Doors, leading you to the outdoor covered patio and the spacious fenced yard with mature trees. Our updated kitchen is perfect for multiple cooks and has a double oven and gas stovetop. A new efficient forced air furnace keeps the home nice and toasty in the winter, and an additional wood stove insert in the sitting area provides extra warmth and ambiance.

This home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay).

The home has a Smart TV above the fireplace and a Smart/Apple TV in the living room. A desk in the sitting room provides the perfect spot for remote work.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book 7+ nights and a 10% discount is automatically applied (does not apply during Christmas/New Year's and the 4th of July holidays).

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Nice place in Creede

The house is large and has a fenced yard which was good for our two small dogs. TVs throughout the house and very good internet. If we go back we would stay here again.

Great location in Creede

We had a terrific stay at this lovely cabin in Creede. Although we some issues arose with the mechanics of the house, our hosts did a terrific job responding to the issues and communicating with us along the way. Would highly recommend staying with them in the future!

The location was good especially the view from the den and back porch. The house was clean and had a great yard. Fireplace instructions would have been nice so there wouldn't be concern regarding its use. We were grateful to find as nice a place that is this pet friendly.

Creede at its finest

Great property away from all the tourist heavy other towns that access Wolf Creek for skiing. My family and I enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and our daily visits from the local mule deer who liked to socialize in the back yard. Great location with views that overlooked the town of Creede and the jaw dropping canyon and mountain views from the back porch. Very well appointed and clean with a nice stash of board games to pass the evening.hours with. We will be back to this one when everything thaws back out for fly fishing.

Uphill coming back to the house. The downstairs is amazing and the porch was divine for looking at the mountains and watching the rain storms come in. We were going to bring my adult daughter and her husband but they couldn’t come, which probably worked out for the best. If you are a shower taker the only shower is in the small master bath so we would have all 4 been using the one shower. There is a toilet upstairs if it the extra bedroom. Kitchen is appointed fantastically.

Creede hill house

Tagged along with my husband on his fishing trip so we decided to find a cozy spot for us...well mostly for me. The house is on hill above the town and easily walkable to the grocery store, restaurants and shoppes. We were there a week before the season starts hopping so it was alittle sleepy not everything was open yet. Since just two of us we only used the downstairs of the house - but this is a great spot for those traveling with another couple, group of friends or families. Smart tvs, a easy to use kitchen, luxury of having a washer and dryer at your fingertips and comfy bed all add to a comfortable getaway.

Comfortable house, great location

The house is charming and ideally located. Great views of Creede and the surrounding area. We made deer friends every day in the yard. It was cute and rustic and had some great amenities, like the bidet and the clawfoot tub. The property management company was very responsive and provided some little boxes with things like coffee, cleaning supplies, etc. Only drawbacks were that the property isn't really 2.5 baths - a true half bath, one with only a clawfoot tub (no shower), and one with only a shower (which was a bit moldy and very small). It would've been nice if there had been more instructions/labels on things like the heaters and fireplace, as well as additional pillows and blankets.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This lovely 1906 era home was a great location for a weekend in Creede with family. Communication with the rental company was excellent as there were a few things that needed mentioning when we arrived. They were excellent in responding and also fixing the issues. The two living areas gave lots of room to spread out. The kitchen had a good selection to make some home cooked dinners though you will want to bring all your condiments, spices and leftover containers yourself as well as aluminum foil etc. The mattresses were very comfortable. The master bath has a small walk in shower and the other downstairs bath has a tub with handle for shower . The backyard is large but the grass is dead and I imagine your dogs will get fairly dusty. The view from the back porch is stunning though there are only 3 chairs so you might want to pack a collapsible camping chair if there are more than 3 people in your party. We loved our stay here but would want to note that the height of the stair risers is very high and anyone with small children or folks with slight mobility issues will need to take care with the stairs. Would highly recommend for your stay in Creede.
