If you are staying in Ashtabula, this is the best place. Me and my fishing crew fished with Lost Tackle and stayed here. The host is a great Christian woman who provides a 5 star place.
This is a beautiful home, well maintained and so close to Bridge Street. We had a wonderful time staying here. My only recommendation would be to have a couple of box fans in the upstairs bedrooms.Everything else was wonderfully stocked and clean.
We were very pleased all except we didn't discover walnut beach was not far from the house until the morning we left.. we thought lake shore was the closest...other wise

The house was perfect! Beautiful, accommodating. Easy access to everything. We had a pleasant time.
My family and I came up to Ashtabula for a one nite stay over to do the wineries for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The house was great for what we needed it for. The host were very accommodating to us and was very quick on responding to questions that we had. I would stay here again if we plan on another trip to the area
I had to travel to Ashtabula for an extended stay and feel lucky I was able to find this nice home for my trip. The place easily accommodated 5 adults and 3 small children. Everything on the description was as advertised. The owner was responsive and ensured we had what we needed. Thank you.
Very clean and nice house to stay in. Only thing I had a problem with is they have there is an outdoor space to hang out. … as someone. Who stays in a lot of air b&b. I was expecting a seating area in back for me and my friends to hang out ….but everything else was great ….:
I highly recommend this house for your stay in Ashtabula. Great location to everything. This is the second year we stayed and it is wonderful, clean place to stay.
Great place to fit our family. VERY easy walk to donuts and Bridge Street.

The property has been beautifully renovated on the inside. Nothing remarkable about the outside, but there was plenty of parking. There really is no outdoor area to sit. The house was very clean and well equipped. Alexis is a well organized host, and responded quickly to my questions. I must echo previous reviews, in that it was strange and awkward that the main entrance was through the downstairs half bath. As there is a good deal of unused space on the first floor, perhaps a full bath will be included in future plans. Also, with hot summer temps, the downstairs was comfortably cool, but one window AC unit in the upstairs and ceiling fans had to work hard to keep things cool. Fortunately we only had to use the bedroom that had that window unit. This was a good enough place for 4 people for one night. More people for a longer stay could be a challenge.
House is so pretty. Only 1 "complaint" the shower is so tiny lol. House was clean and perfect location for us. Definitely will be staying again next year!
The stay was about as accurate as the listing had said.
My only complaint was the upstairs was so very hot and only one room had an AC in it.
House was clean, close to some bars, and in a quiet area.
Need to clean up the spoder webs . Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

I am an entrepreneur expanding into real estate and rental properties. My family and I grew up in Ashtabula and enjoy spending time in the Harbor. There are so many beautiful places to go and enjoy the natural beauties of the small town. My husband and I work and are raising a family. We have recently purchased this home to potentially start a business of rental properties. We look forward to sharing this beautiful town and home with our guests and being the bests hosts we can be!
Why they chose this property
This is a beautiful old home that has been very well maintained. The property was recently updated while still keeping the home's character and original features. This home is spacious with four large rooms and 1 full bath and one half bath. We love this property because of its size, location and modern twist on a 100 year old home!
What makes this property unique
This property is located in a prime located of the Ashtabula Historical Harbor. Ashtabula is home to Lake Erie beaches and so many naturally beautiful places. Ashtabula has a lot of history being part of the underground railroad. The boating marina is located right down the road. The harbor has little shops, and restaurants with many excellent chefs! There are also water sport rentals by the marina that allows families to get out on the water without having a boat!
