The FARM HOUSE was perfect for the 2 couples that stayed there and wanted to go motorcycle riding in the TX Hill Country. The place had everything that we were seeking and needing. Hopefully we will plan to stay there again. Thanks
cute place, clean for the most part, eerie at night and we heard some rodent activity in the upstairs, but it was no problem, just a bjt eerie at night. I'd stay here again though.
This was for a guys motorcycle trip to the 3 Sisters. Nice old farmhouse on 16 acres, very quiet and peaceful. Just minutes to FM 337. Just up the road from the general store for supplies and Lost Maples State Park. The seating area in back of the house was great to just sit and visit and chill. The beds were comfortable. The place was very clean, and directions for the house were clear. The kitchen is well supplied with everything needed for cooking and eating meals. We used the BBQ grill to cook dinner. The only negative I think is the bathrooms are very dated and "rustic". My wife would not be happy, but for three guys it was not an issue. We will definitely rent this property again for our next trip to this area.
We stayed here for 2 nights the location is good very close to The Lost Maples Nature Area. Lots of stars at night very quiet neighborhood I would stay here again if it wasn’t for dust and tree allergies
The house is nice and accommodating and quant and was just what I was looking for to unwind for the weekend. Right next to the Twisted Sister for some good riding. Will definitely be coming back!
Great stay to get away and enjoy the surrounding nature. No cell phone reception in the area but good wifi, easy access to surrounding rivers and nature parks
My friends and I stayed at the farm as our home base for hiking in lost maples. The owners were very responsive and friendly. River access and the fire pit were great features!
very pet friendly. Our 2 cockallier spaniels loved to race to the barn , along with many smells to check along the way back. If you have a controlable dog it is puppy heaven. Clean bug free house. Lots of shade . Dry ,but it is in a drought area. House and barn are green ,not golden . Host is responsive.Lost maples is very close to the house .
The house was comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space. It’s in a beautiful location the nearby lost maples state park was a great spot to visit. The property the house sits on is excellent with plenty of yard and patio to utilize. The river frontage was also a nice spot to walk and relax.
