Walking to the beach a real plus to see sunrise and sunsets esp avoiding all the traffic on the road driving. I was solo most of the time and felt extremely safe as I walked around the townhouse or the pool or siesta key at different hours. The community is very welcoming and kind people at the pool, talked and got along. Places to recommend: SKOB Siesta Key Oyster Bar fresh clean oysters half price 3pm to 6pm Captain Curt excellent clam chowder. Oysters horribly full of grit. The toasted mango: breakfast excellent closes @230pm Cafe Gabbiano excellent Italian courses for Christmas dinner CMX movie theater had waiters and full dinner menu! The imagine museum St. Petersburg:Chihuly and all manner of other glass artists
