This stunning home is the ideal spot for entertaining and relaxing all within 20 miles of downtown Austin. The Getaway was specifically designed to accommodate large groups, sleeping up to 18 guests. This spacious 7 bedroom, 3800 square foot house features a brand new heated pool and hot tub, outdoor grill, covered patio lounge area, large living room with big screen TV and completely open floor plan. There is an incredible game room with arcade games like classic Pacman as well as Big Buck Hunter, Golden Tee and Cruis’n Blast Driving Arcade. Whether exploring Austin and the surrounding area or just looking for a place to gather with friends and family, The Getaway offers something everyone will love.
Please note: no parties or events, including bachelor parties.

About the space
The Getaway was remodeled with a focus on a comfortable and luxurious lifestyle. This 2-story house boasts expansive windows with views of the outdoor patio and pool area. The brand new heated pool and hot tub also includes a suntanning shelf with gentle waterfall. Whether sunbathing on the deck chairs, relaxing under the trees or taking a dip in the pool, the backyard offers a spot for fun and relaxation. Relax under the covered patio while firing up the propane grill. The game room is completely decked out with poker table and the ultimate arcade game experience including:

The easy flowing floor plan makes this house ideal for gathering large groups together. The plush and comfortable living room allows for plenty of natural light to come in a bank of windows overlooking the backyard. There is plenty of room to gather around the large screen TV to watch a game or favorite show. The kitchen is completely open with bar seating and breakfast table. The kitchen bar adds extra prep and serving space with easy access to the 5-burner gas range and oven. The kitchen also includes a microwave, crockpot, toaster, blender, drip coffeemaker and Kuerig.

With 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 18 guests, each room is a peaceful place to rest and recharge. The master bedroom upstairs boasts a king bed as well as a cozy seating area. The attached master bathroom is a private spa retreat with a stand alone bathtub and huge walk-in shower. The bedroom downstairs is a queen-size bed with desk area.

HOUSE LIMITATIONS: While we love to celebrate special occasions, the property does not operate as a venue. Reservations are for overnight accommodations only. No guests under 25 (without parent or legal guardian). No parties or events. No Bachelor parties.

There is a Liability Waiver and Pool Waiver (see attachment called rental agreement). By booking a stay with us you agree to terms of both waivers.
Observe outside quiet hours from 10pm-7am, including weekends. No parties or events allowed.
All children under 12 must be under direct adult supervision at all times.

The house is exactly as described. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, and games. The pool and hot tub were perfect and warm! We loved the property and the property manager was very responsive. We had a great week together and the weather was perfect. When booking we had an extra person charges after 8 people. Something to note as the unit sleeps up to 15 people.

Wonderful Getaway & Celebration

Family get together with 12 staying at the house and 5 locals coming to visit. Had the best experience with such a well thoughout home and amenities! Many personal and helpful touches made this the perfect home for out group! The hosts were so accomodating and generous and everything was exactly as promised! Great house for all ages

Great house for our family group ranging in age from 9-74. Despite the cooler temps, the pool and spa were warm and enjoyed by all. The game room was also a big hit and the parents appreciated that it was easily turned off at bedtime via a remote. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room had plenty of seating for our group.

Lovely stay for me and my family

The pictures honestly don't do the property justice. There's so much space and the check-in process was so easy. Instructions were easy to understand and posted around for easy and inconspicuous reference. I honestly didn't think we'd use the game room much but we came to love playing Buck Hunter and Cruisin' which was a great casual bonding opportunity. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Austin and had a great time. There were 4 couples and my granddaughter that stayed in this VRBO. We had plenty of room and everyone was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa and were happy that plenty of pool towels were provided. My group especially enjoyed the game room. We also prepared several large meals and had everything we needed to do so (not always true at VRBOs).

This house was amazing! The pictures are exactly how the house is. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were amazing!!! We had 14 plus people in and out of the house all weekend that flew in from all over the country for a mutual friends wedding and this house is the spot that we were all able to gather and hang out! Absolute Perfection

Our family came to Austin for Christmas and wanted you find a place that could accommodate all 14 of us, and this place was everything we were looking for and more! The heated pool was amazing and got lots of use even amidst the frigid Austin temperatures. The game room was a perfect spot for young and old alike to bask in the warm glow of technology. The grill and kitchen were perfect for our large group and had everything we needed. All in all, this house exceeded all our expectations, and the hosts were so easy to communicate with and were tremendously accommodating. Highly recommended this home and wouldn't hesitate to book another stay here!
