The home itself was clean but NOT ocean front or ocean view. The beach and pool are located within driving distance for elderly people and within a 7-10 walk for younger people. Once you find the pool it is situated within a few steps from the beach. The owner communicated well and was able to address most of our concerns except for providing a beach view or oceanfront or pool property. The description reads “ocean front” and this is why we booked. The property is not oceanfront. There may be units on the property with ocean view or ocean access but not this specific property. The owner was only able to confirm that the photos used in his post did not belong to him and were not posted by him but maybe VRBO posted the photos depicting “ocean/pool view/front”. House was well equipped although we packed or luggage with paper kitchen goods (cups, plates, utensils) and bath goods (towels, washcloths, soap). We would rent again if the price was reduced since this is advertised as oceanfront BUT IS NOT.Research and ask plenty of questions was our lesson learned from our first VRBO experience.
