About this property

Slainte House is your next beach retreat! Our home boasts vibrant furnishings throughout the spacious interior that seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen spaces while each bedroom offers ensuite bathrooms. Our fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need while our balcony offers outdoor seating and ocean views.

Slainte means "health" in Irish Gaelic and is used in place of "cheers" which is why we chose this name. We want you to celebrate your time at our home - Slainte!

BEDROOM INFORMATION:
Bedroom 1: King bed with ensuite bathroom, ceiling fan, TV and views of the beach from the bedroom windows. (Sleeps 2)

Bedroom 2: One full over full bunk bed and one twin over twin bunkbed with ensuite bathroom and TV. (Sleeps 4-6; see bunk weight limits below)

Bedroom 3: King bed with ensuite bathroom, ceiling fan, TV and views of the bay and ocean from the walk out deck. (Sleeps 2)

Bedroom 4: One king bed and one trundle daybed with ensuite bathroom, ceiling fan, TV and views of the beach from the walk out deck. (Sleeps 4)

KITCHEN INFORMATION:
Fully stocked kitchen contains plates & bowls (ceramic set & plastic set), cups (glass set & plastic set), cutlery and wine glasses, all serving 14 along with the following items:
Toaster

Coffee pot: carafe and k-cup
Full set pots & pans
3 glass baking dishes (4x13), (7.5x11.5), (9x12)
4 cookie sheets
1 muffin tin
2 roasting pans (15x11)
Ice cream scoop, vegetable peeler, bottle/wine opener, can opener, pizza cutter, cheese grater, basting brush, cutting boards, miscellaneous spoons & spatulas, mixing bowls, misc. serving trays, grilling utensils, salt & pepper, EVOO, and basic spices.

Upon arrival you will be provided with the following necessities:
2 kitchen trash bags
1 roll paper towels
1 Kitchen sponge
Dish soap
2 individually wrapped 12 cup coffee packets (filters also provided)
2 detergent pods
1 roll toilet paper in each bathroom
Hand soap in each bathroom
Cleaning supplies: vacuum, broom & dustpan, and basic cleaning sprays
Fresh linens (1 set of bed linens per bed, 1 set of towels per guest, 1 beach towel per guest)

ADDITIONALL INFORMATION:
* 2nd row home with shared beach access located steps from our door.
* Pack-n-Play Crib & highchair located in closet off living room - sheets NOT provided.
* White cabinet contains cards, games, coloring books and kids' books for use during your stay.
* Charcoal grill - Provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid
* Wagon & sand toys located in the garage
* Xfinity Streaming cable; all TVs are smart TVs for you to log into your apps
* High speed WIFI
* Picnic table on ground level and front deck
* Solar cafe lights on main deck
* Water for home is well & septic. While we do have a filter for the entire house and an additional filter for the kitchen sink, we suggest bottled water & bagged ice for drinking.
* We spray for mosquitos every 3 weeks, and a spray may take place during your stay. We will do our best to notify you prior to any service.
*Bunk beds to be used at your own risk. Weight capacity from manufacturer for bunk beds: Full/full bunk: 300 lb. max top; Twin/twin bunk: 200 lb. max top

** Furnishings and amenities will be furnished as described whenever possible. In the event an item is damaged/broken/lost the host will restock as soon as possible.

Girls Weekend

The beach house was decorated beautifully, and was so close to the beach! We enjoyed having 4 bathrooms, and king size beds. The rooms were so lovely, and the beds were really comfortable. The house was very well stocked. The Seahorse Bar and Grill was a perfect lunch spot on the water, and the was food was great! Perfect place to relax and enjoy the cool ocean air and sunsets in April.

Cozy and relaxing beach stay!

We stayed at this property over Thanksgiving week. The house is clean and very well appointed. We loved the comfy king beds. The beach in front of the house was very clean and uncrowded. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions and incredibly attentive and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Nice house

Nice house and we had a restful stay. Enjoyed the checkerboard table and corn hole. The house was very clean and plenty big enough for all guest to have space. Mosquito issues when we went outside and even getting into the truck but we watched many battle the same issue as they attempted to cross the boardwalk to the beach. We didn’t use the pit but that was nice to have as an option. Suggestions would include- batteries for remotes, suggestion of mosquito spray, and something to fix the smell of the water from sinks and showers.

We are Kristen & Jason. We enjoy traveling and most especially love beach locations. We had the best time setting up this property and are thrilled to be able to share Slainte House with our guests.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is situated a few miles from Surfside, and the beach area in front of our home is spacious. Spend your days relaxing, building sandcastles or surf fishing from this gorgeous spot.

We highly suggest making at lease one early morning trip to the beach during your stay to watch the sunrise. You will not be disappointed!

What makes this property unique

Our spacious and open plan layout between the living, dining and kitchen allows for a close and connected atmosphere throughout your stay while each bedroom offers ensuite bathrooms providing more privacy for our guests. We also offer direct beach access from the newly constructed bridge located just steps from the property and a wagon to help transport all of your beach gear. After your day at the beach enjoy the sunset from our main balcony with plenty of outdoor seating.

For those rainy days or when you need a break from the sun we have added some games and cards, along with coloring books and puzzles for the little ones or you can try your hand at our checkers/chess game table. We also offer a charcoal grill from preparing those burgers and hotdogs, and don't forget our custom corn hole set for some outdoor fun while you are grilling.
