My stay was great. It was very quiet and relaxing. Sitting on the dock fishing or just having my morning coffee was great. I really needed that little reset from my day-to-day life. I should have booked an extra day. If I'm back next that way I will be booking to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The views of the waccamaw river were wonderful, we saw a couple alligators, soft shelled turtles, and even got to see a meteor one night! My dog came with us and we were close enough to the beach where our other family stays during vacation and visit them daily and take my dog for some walks on the beach. My family came over one night and we had a really good time hanging out together and grilling diner at the bar area, my brother now wants an outdoor bar at his home, lol. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tabor City house. The location was excellent, right on the river, in a very nice area. Enjoyed sitting on the decks and doing a little fishing. House had everything we needed even a hose to rinse off our boat after fishing in Sunset Beach. Would recommend home to others and might return ourselves one day. Thank you.

Great place to stay! Off the path of the beach life but still close enough to enjoy the ocean and shopping. We personally enjoyed the river and the peacefulness of the property. Love our stay.

Great little getaway.

This was a really nice spot to relax at! It had everything you'd need and some river charm to go with it. The host was super friendly and had great communication. The view of the flowing river from the living room is a beautiful perk of staying here! My family and I will definitely visit again.

Relaxing stay with an amazing view!

This spot was comfortable and quaint! The inside was lovely and the beds were comfy! The outside area was all that we hoped for and more! We spent most of our time outside! Jodi checked in via message to see if we needed anything but was unobtrusive. This is definitely a repeat location for us!

Relaxing river views away from the crowds

We loved staying and plan to return. The property was clean, well furnished and comfortable. The owners were easy to contact and quickly responded. The location is conveniently located near Cherry Grove, Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle. Most days we ventured out to the different beaches and surrounding areas. During our down time we enjoyed relaxing on the dock and being able to look out to the river from the living area.

Wedding week

We traveled down for our daughter’s wedding and the place was fantastic! It was peaceful and relaxing. Just what I needed with all the wedding details and planning of the week. Jodi was kind and caring. She was a wonderful host!

Great Stay at The River House

The River House was clean, warm, and welcoming. As advertised, it was located at a very nice spot with a great view and multiple decks out back for hanging out, swimming, and fishing. Wish I could have done that more but it was an unexpectedly cold week in March. Jodi was a responsive and accommodating host who checked in regularly but was not intrusive. Highly recommend.

Great location…

This property is better than the pictures show. The home is decorated so cute and has everything you need. Jodi has thought of everything down to the usb plugs in all rooms. It’s everything you could want ….on the river feeling like you are in the middle no where to being in busy North Myrtle in 20 minutes. Jodi was great to communicate with and very sweet. I only had one issue……the dogs figured out how to open the bathroom door…lol. We had a great time and look forward to going back. Thank you Jodi for everything.
