Oceanfront property recently remodeled. Walk right out your backdoor and into crystal clear water. Snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, reef fishing, bone fishing and more can be experienced steps away from your home. You can also visit Abaco's famous blue holes just a few miles away. The house is bright and full of space. 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Expansive 12'x60' porch with brand new outdoor furniture and gas grill to sit back, relax, and enjoy the views.
The space
Over 1,700 square feet inside and plenty of space for two small families or one large family. The wall of windows allows you to have views of water all day long and provides much light that brightens the entire home. There is also plenty of free parking space available directly in front of the home.

Fantastic Retreat Location

The house has everything a family need. This is off the beaten path, which was just what we were looking for to have a relaxing and resting vacation. There was good communication from the host and care taker. Please expect some power outages, which is normal on the island.

Beautiful Beach Getaway

The home is exactly as described/pictured. The beach is beautiful and it's fun to explore the flats at low tide. The set up of the windows and covered porch spanning the front of the house is really special, you feel like you're sitting on the beach at all times! There were paddleboards and a kayak, plenty of beach towels, and the outdoor furniture is great. It's a perfect getaway.

Perfectly Paradise

If you are looking for the perfect secluded getaway then this is your spot. The views are absolutely amazing and the beach is literally just steps from the back door. It’s the perfect place to unplug and relax. The house was clean, updated and tastefully decorated. The owners are more than accommodating and very quick to reply with any and all questions. Also, recommend checking out Pete’s Pub (about a 25 minute drive).

Amazing location and home

Quiet, safe and beautiful location with one of the most incredible beaches we ever been to. You can walk out for hundreds of yards at low tide with the water only around your knees. Crystal clear. House is clean, well-designed with solid amenities and the views are amazing. Great having access to the skiff for exploring the entire bay—every day brought rays, turtles, nurse sharks, starfish and sand dollars galore. Great fly fishing location too. Would stay here again for sure.

Amazing!

I'm going to start with the simple, but most important thing about this entire trip is a proximity to the tranquil ocean. We were traveling with a 5-month-old. The house was equipped for an infant which was even more touching, but the ocean being just steps away from the front door made it just absolutely amazing. The hosts were able to connect us with car rental and fishing connections, all of which were local, seamless, amazing, and trustworthy. We're already looking to book again and can't wait to come back. The ability to sleep with your doors open, listen to the ocean and wake up and watch the sunset and the sunrise everyday is purely breathtaking. One of the best trips that we've taken in a while and we travel extensively to the Caribbean. We will be back for sure

Amazing vacation home! Must book.

Such a lovely home! All the appliances were brand new and modern. The cleanliness was refreshing and the water was never cold, which was a nice surprise. The house entertained all of my family's needs. Stores and restaurants are nearby; the island is amazing and there's much to see. The beach is right out front, it is absolutely beautiful. If I were to come to Abaco again, I would want to stay here. Usually, hosts will put you to the side as soon as you have their property booked, but that's not the case with Frank and Lynn at all! They treated us as valued guests the whole duration of our trip by checking in often, making sure we adjusted well and were having a great time.

if you like to have a relaxing holiday in a house equipped with every comfort 2 meters from the sea, in front of an almost deserted beach, with an emerald green sea where you can walk x 700-800 meters out to sea, this is your place ! Frank the owner despite being thousands of km away is present and works for every difficulty. only negativity of the place: the sunflyers that force you to stay at home in the evening because if you stay on the beach or on the patio ... they will devour you !!

Beautiful Bahamas Beach Vacay

We were very happy with our Casuarina beach house choice. The home was well stocked for cooking at home. Bedrooms and baths were appropriately appointed. Outdoor furniture was perfect for lounging. The house had wonderful, unobstructed views of the beautiful turquoise Caribbean water. Our kids had a blast just playing in the sand just 10 steps from the back porch. Low tides produced great bonefishing opportunities directly in front of the house. Sand dollars, conch shells, and other seas treasures were also easily found on our beach and sandbar walks. The property owner’s communication could not have been better. Expect a 20-30 minute drive for the nearest restaurant or well stocked grocery store but once you’re at the house you’ll have little reason to want to leave.

2024 Family Vacation

The House and property exceeded our expectations!! It was a Beautiful,Clean,Spacious house that felt like home away from home. My family of 5 (3 kids ages 16,14,12) along with my mom and dad had an amazing holiday. Frank was such a great help with any questions we had and was very punctual with responses. The locals were very friendly and the neighbour house was very friendly with a couple kids that hung out with our kids. Walker Wong took my husband and kids out fishing and he was spectacular. So many memories….that to me is what living is all about. Making memories with loved ones. The Property definitely didn’t disappoint and I would recommend it to anyone who either likes to relax, go snorkelling, fish, walk the beach(sand is awesome),paddle board or kayak. 5 ⭐️ great holiday!!

Spring Break 2023

Really enjoyed our trip to S Abaco. The house was just perfectly situated feet away from the water. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was very clean and had a well appointed kitchen. Good water pressure and a nice deck with grill. Frank was super helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the sea kayak and paddle boards, and use of the skiff. A neighbor took us out on his fishing boat for a fun day on the water. Car rental was easy from the house care taker. It is not a busy / super developed Island- it’s all about being on the water and relaxing which is just what we wanted. We had 12 years old to 83 years old. All enjoyed the beautiful views and yummy, fresh seafood. The island is still recovering from Hurricane Dorian in 2019. It was hard to see the devastation still being dealt with so many years later. The Bahamian people were kind and helpful and made us feel welcomed.

Paradise!

If we could give a rating higher than a 5, we would! First, we had the best experience with homeowner, Frank from prior to booking all the way through our stay. He provided us with helpful videos, tips, places to go on the boat and made sure we had a terrific stay. Thank you Frank for the amazing communication! As soon as we entered the house, we literally said out loud "WOW!". The entire beach side is a wall of windows and glass doors that brings the beach and ocean right inside to you. The house is beautifully remodeled, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has just about everything you need to cook meals and we did the entire 6 days we were there. The location of the home in Casuarina Point is breathtaking. Of all the locations on Great Abaco, we are glad we chose this area. At low tide, you can walk for quite a long ways and find all sorts of sea life - sand dollars, star fish, conch, and collect gorgeous shells. The Sound is protected well so it didn't get the crashing waves as you may elsewhere. We rented the boat for the week and SO glad we did so! We ventured to reefs, islands and the Cherokee Long Dock. We caught 3 lobster and found a reef with endless conch to get. Needless to say, we ate well! The boat (skiff) is a must if you like to venture out and explore. We loved being at this house and using the boat, that we never left for the 6 days! Thank you Frank for an epic vacation home and your outstanding communication. We WILL be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. :)

Amazing home. Frank, the host, was incredibly helpful and a great communicator. The house is well appointed and a stones throw from the water. The views are spectacular both from the interior and the beach. Started each morning drinking my coffee and watching sea turtles. Perfect spot for anyone looking to escape for a secluded vacation. About 20 mins outside of town so be prepared to get a rental car, groceries, and make the trek into town if you want to dine out but the location was exactly what we were after for some tranquility. Highly recommend and will be staying here again! Thank you Frank for sharing your amazing home with us.

Why they chose this property

This is a unique place where you have calm gin clear water, not deeper than your waist, for 200 ft. There's a beautiful reef one mile from our beach that's perfect for snorkeling and reef fishing for dinner. The flats accommodate world class bone fishing and less than 2 miles offshore you can be deep sea fishing in depths > 3000 ft for Mahi Mahi and Tuna. There's also a beautiful sandbar that presents itself each low tide that's perfect for finding starfish, sand dollars and all kinds of interesting shells.

What makes this property unique

Our neighborhood is located 15 miles south of Marsh Harbour and the main airport. Maxwell's is the grocery store in Marsh Harbour which has pretty much everything the large U.S. grocery stores carry. We usually stop there and load up for the week right after we land.
