The space
""A Time to Chill" is a 1933 Victorian home, strategically located in the picturesque railroad town of Shenandoah, VA. Whether you come here for hiking, biking, fishing, tubing, kayaking, nature walking, winter skiing, ziplining, horseback riding to name a few of the many things to do in the area, rest assured you can always come back to our home and chillax after a long day. With fast internet access, our place is also great for remote working if you so chose or you can just kick back and enjoy a well-deserved staycation.

Features: 2 King Beds + 1 bunk bed twin over full and trundle twin (maximum weight limit on the bunk beds is 200 lbs. each)

A classic filled with beautiful hardwood details, yet decked out with modern amenities and updated mid-century style décor, can comfortably accommodate a small group of friends, couples, one or two (small) families of 6 to 8 people max, plus infants.

We recently added a brand new privacy fence in the backyard that makes you feel secluded, while being in town.

FIRST FLOOR
With original 1933 hardwood floors in all three bedrooms upstairs, we invite you to dance along to their squeaky tunes that is part of the charm we wanted to preserve by keeping them as original as possible.

Conversation/ living room with a desk and chair, comfortable seating area, and plenty of natural light through the signature large windows. If the eyes are truly the windows to the soul, well these windows which are found in the living room, dining room, and both king bedrooms are the soul of this house.

Fully-equipped kitchen that has all you need and more to prepare gourmet meals: electric stove, oven, refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, rice cooker, Ninja blender, stand mixer, toaster, complete set of dishes, glassware, utensils, knives, bakeware, spices, oil. You will never feel excluded from the conversation as it has a cute window that looks directly into the heart of the house, the game room.

Attached to the kitchen is a cozy dining room with seating for 6 with two additional barstool seats at the kitchen counter.

GAME ROOM
A great place for everyone to gather. Equipped with a 65 inch smart TV and electric fireplace that is perfect for movie nights, you will find various board games, arcade games, foosball, pool table, and poker bar.
Additionally located in the game room is a coffee station (duo Keurig single-serve and drip coffee carafe, some coffee is provided and some K-cups to get you started) a french press, an Italian espresso machine, an electric Kettle for tea.

BACKYARD OASIS
Last but not least, we are in our favorite part of the house! Large deck with multiple seating areas to include a pergola covered seating and dining area for 8, a bbq grill and our personal favorite: a wood-fired brick pizza oven imported from Italy. If you are an experienced "pizzaiolo" or a novice and always wanted to make your own pizza or simply experience the deliciousness of your very own brick oven pizza, you have come to the right place!
Additionally bring on the s'mores to enjoy the warmth of the Solo Stove fire pit.
The Jacuzzi Hot Tub with privacy curtains is for a maximum of 6 people.

The original 1933 hardwood floors upstairs in bedroom #1 squeak a little in one area.
The bathroom on the ground floor is a full bathroom and the shower is on the small side but works really well.
The house is in a residential area and it is not secluded, but you will have complete privacy within the fenced backyard
