Just what we needed

We wanted somewhere where we could enjoy time together away from the business of everything. This property was the perfect location. A great wrap around porch and perfect fire pit. The hot tub was a nice way to end the days. The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely recommend for your consideration.

The only recommendation i would have would be to allow the A/C to stay blowing cool air throughout the night. Several people complained about how hot it got in the middle of the night. Perfect location for Hocking Hills

Great location that was close to Ash Cave and Old Man’s Cave. Our 3 generations had plenty of space to enjoy our weekend. House is easy to find and was very private. Plenty of bedrooms and baths with a large dining table for all of us. We look forward to coming back.

Excellent stay in Hocking Hills. The location was a beautiful property. The home was updated and well stocked with everything you could need. A 15-20 minute drive to hiking in Hocking Hills and McArthur was an easy drive for groceries. I would return to this property. Hosts also provided great communication.

Beautiful farmhouse

We had an amazing time. We were a large group with small children, and they never wanted to leave the house! It has a creek, an incredible hot tub with colored lights, even arcade games. They were in heaven. Absolutely recommend!

A Peaceful Retreat

What a great place! Plenty of comfortable seating, a well equipped kitchen and a layout that allowed for times of togetherness and space to enjoy solitude. The bedrooms are very large with comfortable beds and we appreciated the 3 full bathrooms. The owners pay attention to details and this house shows it. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus that our group thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location and property.

The house itself is very spacious, on a big piece of property. We had 3 generations under one roof and it was great for young and old. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. At night my kids loved catching fire flies on the property and playing in the creek. The location was great for day trips to Hocking Hills state park. There were a few minor things that could be better - one of which is that there is no shampoo or conditioner or blow dryers were supplied, which obviously was not a deal breaker but is pretty standard for rental properties. I would suggest bringing drinking water as the water there has a strong sulfur smell and taste. Overall it is a great place to unwind and relax with your family and friends

Farm house

We stayed here for a weekend with another family, 4 adults, 8 kids. The space is plenty big and very clean. They have the basics for sure. Make sure to bring the items they recommend. The location is good in regards to being close to popular Hocking hills locations. There is one small grocery store nearby, but if you’re expecting a Kroger/walmart style it’s def not that so bring what you need. We went in middle of June, and obviously we are in the middle of woods, so as semi expected there were lots of ticks around (even in the hot tub) so be aware (one guest had one on him). The fire pit was very nice but bring wood. Beds were comfy. Water was good. Showers were great. Beautiful overall property. OH one thing to definitely mention is there was no phone service at all here. The WIFI worked great so that helps a lot at the house but there are plenty of areas around hocking hills that don’t have cell reception so be prepared. I WOULD definitely recommend this location for any family or groups. Overall great experience.

Perfect Experience

My wife and I decided to take our three young boys (4, 2 and 4 months) on a quick vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house sits on a large property with tons of room for the little ones to run around. The house itself was spacious, updated, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect too. Just minutes from the state parks and typical hocking hills venues. In addition, the owner was quick to respond, kind and courteous. Really dont have a bad thing to say or complain about. Overall, it was a great experience and would absolutely do it again.

Incredible Property

What an incredible place! Everything in the house appeared brand new. The mattresses were very comfortable, my wife had everything she needed to cook all our meals, and the kids loved all the outdoor space to explore. The owners have thought of everything. The hot tub was by far my favorite part and we spent a majority of our evenings in it. The kids absolutely loved the fire pit. We were about 10 minutes from various stores and restaurants in McArthur - check out Mullins for some great pizza! There is a cool little creek that you have to cross at the entrance of the property and we had no issues. (It’s actually a pretty neat feature and something we’ve never seen at other properties in the area.) We chose this place because of its close location to Hocking Hills State Park and the trails did not disappoint. We had great weather and a great time. Highly recommend this property!
