It Could’ve Been A Lot Better

The beds are more like dorm room beds. They are so narrow and so short. All night I was afraid I was going to roll off and my feet hung off the end. In the first room (yes we had to change rooms) the TV didn’t work. It was stuck on the menu screen, the AC didn’t work one bit. It was a furnace in there plus the shelf in the shower was falling off the wall so anything you placed on the shelf would end up falling into the tub over & over again. It’s in a great location but please keep looking. There are many better places in the area. The team at this hotel does not do a good job of maintaining the property. It seems like they don’t fix anything unless you bring it up to them. There were so many little things that they could easily fix but seem to just decide not to which makes are stays unpleasant. Next time I’m in NYC I definitely won’t be staying at The Gallivant.
