Not as advertised

The hotel was clean and in a good location. The staff were friendly. The room did not look at all like what was shown on the site. It was very small, had no fridge which is really a necessity for an 8 night stay. The elevators were shaky and very slow. The ice machine on our floor did not work. The dates are wrong even though I called VRBO to make the change (the hotel had the correct dates so all was good there).

Catfished! Public Health Risk

On checkin I took pics of the room which besides not being as pictured (small, no desk) was dirty; floor, side of bed food and stains, stains on wall, ripped walllpaper, broken nightstand. Before even reaching the room, the carpets were dirty with holes and even the elevator literally had holes in it! The wall was ripped in the hall with exposed screws and nails and a blood mess on the carpet.The desk clerk said the picture room finders has pictured is that of the Marriott. There is no gym “ under renovations” and no restaurant, only a Vietnamese restaurant and hookah bar next door which played loud music all night. This place was a hourly hooker roach hotel at best and a health hazard at worst! I sent pictures to “Roompickers” and I am requesting my money back, including fee

Fantastic location

Absolutely fantastic location. Walk to everything and great connection from and to JFK by subway. The room we had was basic. Minimalistic equipment. Only coffee maker available. No bathroom glass, or a cup for tooth brushes. No microwave. No thermostat in the room. Maintenance had to manually set the room temperature. I am pretty sure the kitchen was in the amenities description for the room, when we were choosing the room. Cant find it now... Bed is very comfortable. Room cleaning service was great and helpful. Definitely recommending to everyone...
