The Cozy Crab House is conveniently situated on the beautiful sands of Ormond by the Sea. This renovated beach bungalow features central A/C, new appliances, a coffee bar, and a large fenced yard with a relaxing hammock and fire pit waiting for you. There is also a spacious 20’ x 40’ feet driveway, perfect for parking a trailer if needed.


Located in a quiet and peaceful area with direct beach access, a nearby lifeguard station offers peace of mind just a short walk away. Additionally, this home provides direct access to the Halifax River.

You can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing, or simply marvel at the amazing sunrise or sunset. Furthermore, it's just 1.1 miles from Ormond Beach Mall, which houses stores like Publix Supermarket, Dollar Tree, and Bealls Outlet. Ormond by the Sea, a historic island, boasts numerous restaurants such as Billy’s Tap Room and Grill since 1922, Grind Gastropub & Kona Tiki Bar, Ormond Garage, Alfie’s Restaurant, RoseVilla, 63 Sovereign, and Fugu Sushi, among others.

Fantastic stay! Everything was as described and made our stay easy. The walk to the beach was short. The cottage house was adorable and very thoughtful with amenities and instructions. We will return. We were in town for a competition in Daytona Beach and staying here was really nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Daytona and yet an easy drive.

Loved this place!! It’s so cute and so clean! Beautifully decorated. Great communication with owners. We stayed here for the Turkey Run car show, plenty of space for our truck and trailer and ‘47 Dodge. Quiet, safe neighborhood. It was a little too cold for the beach but it’s close! And they have a wagon to bring beach chairs! Watched the sunset over the river on the dock. Cute coffee bar with everything you need. Thank you for sharing your home!!

This is a vacation rental rather than a hotel, so we provide a starter supply of essentials as a courtesy. For your stay, we stocked 18 K-cups and starter paper goods, which are intended to cover the initial portion of a trip. For longer stays, guests typically purchase additional personal items as needed. We also reached out twice during your visit to check in and did not receive any reply or report of an ant concern or maintenance issue. Had we been notified, we would have sent our team immediately, as we take those matters very seriously. The refrigerator was inspected after your departure and is working properly. Refrigerators do not fully “shut off,” but instead run in cooling cycles, which is normal operation. The fire pit is available for guest use, firewood is not included and can be purchased locally. Login instructions and streaming details are provided in the welcome email. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working hard to maintain a clean, welcoming space for all guests. Thank You.

The house is so cute with its beach decorations. Super clean and fully equipped with everything that one can possibly need. Nice touch! Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Loved how close to the beach and restaurants we were. We walked to the beach everyday during our stay.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefits about this property is you are located between The Beach and The Halifax River. A short (0.2 mi) walk mostly flat via Roberta Road to the beach leading you directly to the Lifeguard Station that overlooks the beach for your Safety. Also Al Weeks Sr. North Shore Park is a handicapped accessible beachfront park with restrooms, showers, parking and sidewalks that directly overlook the beach as well. An additional large, paved overflow parking lot is located diagonally across the street on Ocean Shore Blvd. And also short walk (0.3 mi) mostly flat via Roberta Road to The Halifax River side you have Roberta Fishing Dock and Kayak Launch with seating where you can enjoy a nice brewed coffee in the morning or watch the beautiful sunset and wildlife directly overlooking the River.
