Had a wonderful stay in April. We were out of towners, in Pontiac for a wedding. I used to live in Pontiac back in the 80's and downtown Pontiac has really come along. We highly recommend Fillmore 13 Brewery. Yes, the house is old and it has a lot of character too. We enjoyed the multi bedroom/bathroom house and we especially enjoyed the big kitchen - we fixed breakfast there every morning. Communication with the owner was excellent - I left a coat there and arranged to pick it up the next morning! Thanks!
Black & White vibes for days! Rented this gem while in town to see a show at Pine Knob and it was so lovely. The historic charm was perfectly restored in each room.
Travelled a quick visit over to the Detroit Zoo, had drinks a few minutes away at Liberty Bar, and spent a great evening around the fire pit. Will be back soon for sure!
We had a great stay in this home. It’s a very old home, so if you are not familiar with old home quirks it might surprise you a bit. I grew up in a home that was well over 100 years old, so creaky floors, some leaks (that the owner is aware of and addressing), and lots of furnace and old home noises were not alarming to us.
The kitchen was nicely renovated and wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. The mattresses were comfortable and the fans were appreciated at night to help drown out a lot of the noise. The open concept was perfect for our larger group and having a working washer/dryer is so convenient.
Thanks again for the stay!
Very disappointed we only stayed one night of our 4 night reservation..the house had a very bad leak in the master shower..it was leaking down to the foyer below....we could tell it was not a new leak.. floors were filthy..had not been mopped on a long time..outside fireplace area was.not like the pictures .could not set out there...host would not give us the full refund for the 3 nights we coild not stay there
