Great location, easy to access. Parking is tight, plan accordingly for parking if you have a bike attached to your vehicle. Very close to dining and music venues. Beautiful pool! The hotel is dated, but very clean. The bedding is just ok. The TV works well and there are two elevators. The front desk woman is pleasant, very hard working and keeps a very very clean hotel. There is also a morning coffee, bagel, yogurt, cereal and waffle breakfast. Also milk and juice is available.
Basic accommodations. walking distance to many restaurants and shops in Asheville. Parking was difficult. There were plenty of spots, but they were challenging to get in and out of. Good value for the money and the check-in process and communication was great

Excellent value which includes free parking & free breakfast until 11:30 AM. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, milk, waffles, cereal, bagels, good yogurt & some sort of microwaveable sausage & biscuit.
Issues: needed to pound on the door to the suite to gain entry (I was able to but some will not have the strength to do this), semi-clogged bathtub drain (unless they put in a $1 filter it will always clog with hair) and cheap bar soap that's nearly impossible to rinse from your hands (I used the shampoo instead as it worked better)
All that said, while the place is quite dated, it's hard to beat the value.
This hotel is conveniently located and so cute. It reminds me of the type of hotel my family used to stay in when I was a kid. I will definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay to visit New River Gorge and Fayetteville. Location is perfect. Close to everything.

The Downtown Inn was fantastically situated for exploring Asheville - 5mins walk and you are in the hard of the city. The accommodation was basic but clean and fairly quite for it being downtown.
It was clean, comfortable, had excellent power-strips (a highly underrated luxury when you travel with electronics), was affordable and had the most beautiful mountain views I've seen!
