Mountain to Sand Adventures presents Foothills Run! Foothills Run is a charming cabin in Wears Valley, TN nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains offering breathtaking views. This location is close to all the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet far enough away to still enjoy a peaceful mountain experience.

~ 5 minutes to the entrance of the Foothills Parkway
~10 minutes to Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Metcalf Bottoms entrance
~20 minutes to Pigeon Forge
~25-30 minutes to Dollywood
~35-40 minutes to Gatlinburg

Please note:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Cabin has central heating and air conditioning. It is on well water (with a full softening system) and septic.
3. Outdoor surveillance on this cabin has four cameras all around the main deck and garage area.
4. Use of garage and owners closet not permitted
5. There is a 3% credit card processing fee for all cancellations. That means your refund will be 97% of the original booking amount if cancelled at least 30 days before check in.
6. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
7. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 10:00am EST will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 10:00am EST.
8. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

Very nice cabin! Great views, not far from town, comfortable king size beds! Big hot tub, awesome wrap around porch with nice rocking chairs, pool table, and grill! Great rental spot.

Amazing cabin.

Perfect size for the 6 of us. Teens loved the jacuzzi and pool table. Pool close by. Saw a young black bear first day from the balcony. So cool. Great starter kit left for dishwasher soap, laundry soap, TP.

Great Cabin

This is a great cabin with a great view! Check-in and out was a breeze. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! We saw a mamma bear and her 3 cubs one morning on the property.

Nice and quiet place!

We really enjoyed our stay, place is quiet and relaxing. We stayed busy the entire time with two teenagers, so didn’t get to spend as much time in the cabin as I would have wanted lol

This cabin has a beautiful view and is very relaxing. Very clean and has everything you need. Either to stay in as a relaxing getaway or a base of operations to explore Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Cades Cove. Perfect vacation stay.

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view

Lovely cabin with gorgeous view! Very spacious for our group of nine. Had a couple sightings of bears (one having three cubs with her) walking right past the cabin. We hope to come back again next year. Would definitely recommend this place!

We were looking for an authentic Smoky cabin experience and got exactly that! The hot tub was particularly fun and generally everything was very easy. Would definitely return.

The place was perfect. Way better than i expected. The pictures on here dont do the place or views justice! Very conveniently located. We had a blast and even had a beautiful bear come say hi. Would definitely stay here again

This home is beautiful and very well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and the little things like hand soap, laundry pods, dishwasher tabs/dish soap, and paper products were all stocked (though you may need more for a longer stay).

Fall vacation with family

Loved our stay

We are locals but wanted to get away for a couple of days. We didnt quite want the hussle and bussle of pigeon forge or gatlinburg, wears valley was perfect! The cabin was VERY kid friendly. One of our five kiddos has autism and loves to runwe locked both sides of the outside gate and he was all about it! Baby gates were there, our kids loved every bit of it and we loved the view! We will definitely be booking in the future.

This cabin was a perfect fit for my family (2 parents and 5 kiddos ranging from 3-28 years old). Exceptionally stocked kitchen and the entire house was very clean. Andrea was responsive with any inquiries within minutes! The description of the driveway was definitely helpful!! And the well water- we couldn’t even tell. My favorite part? The view!

Great views, cabin was spotless and offered plenty of room for our family. Communication with host was top notch and check in/out was seamless. Kids enjoyed the cabin and fishing pond. On our last night the kids enjoyed the hot tub and were treated to listening to several owls that perched close to the cabin and hooted to each other. Overall relaxing, great stay!

Perfect for Families!

We had three adults and seven kids and this place was magical. The memories we made were unforgettable! It rained the first two days and we still had an amazing time. The sights are breathtaking! The view of the sunrise from the back porch is absolutely STUNNING!

Spacious for a family vacation

The property was spacious and comfortable for our family of seven and in a good location. The pool table was a life saver for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub and the back deck a couple of days. The host was responsive and addressed questions in a timely manner. Wonderful overall experience.

Perfect week

We timed this trip just right with the fall colors. With each day the leaves became more vibrant. The cabin did not disappoint. Nice views, balcony, and the fireplace was a great end to each day. The cabin was close to everything we needed. No bears but Cades Cove and Smokey Mountain National Park were some of the highlights of the trip. Will be back again.

Gorgeous Mountain View’s!

We loved our family get away at the cabin in the mountains! The property was very accurately represented in the listing and it was a peaceful home in the mountains. I loved the views and enjoyed coffee on the wrap around porch daily. We loved the family comforts and played a lot of pool and soaked in the hot tub with our boys nightly. It’s a perfect spot to get away in the mountains and would book again in the future!

My family and I were very happy and pleased with this cabin. It’s beautiful and has all the things you need for a one night or seven night trip. It’s very homey. Very family/children, friendly! Exactly as described!

We had a fantastic stay! The cabin was exactly as described and the pictures are perfect. Andes was very friendly and efficient with her communication. The check in/out process was easy and the drive way was not as bad as I expected. I almost didn’t book because I was afraid of the drive. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

What makes this property unique

Roads - Navigation of windy and at times steep, mountain roads are required along the drive to the cabin. It is also very dark after the sun goes down with little street lighting. Please plan to arrive in the daylight if you are not comfortable navigating curvy mountain roads after dark. 4 wheel drive is not required unless a significant snow storm comes through.

Well Water - The cabin is on well water which is filtered through a salt filtration system that softens the water. While it is safe to drink, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking and making coffee. Please note there is no water filtration device in the cabin for drinking water.

Septic System - The cabin is on a septic system. Only septic safe toilet paper is approved to be flushed, no other items such as wipes and feminine hygiene products should be flushed.

Wildlife and Critters - Hurray you are in the mountains! That comes with some new encounters. The cabin is treated monthly by a licensed pest control service however there is still a possibility that a critter could make their way inside. Lady bugs are a harmless nuisance that sometimes make their way into the main level. There have been multiple bear and bear cub sightings so far this year in the neighborhood. It is also possible to encounter snakes, spiders and other mountain wildlife during your stay. Please do not leave food or trash outside and use the black bear trash bins by the garage to dispose of cabin trash.

Cell Service - There is no cell phone service at the cabin, however Xfinity high speed wifi is available. Please enable wifi calling before your trip.

Pool and Deli - Please note the pool is Memorial Day through Labor Day. Deli at the pool is open year round.

No check in/out Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
