Mountain to Sand Adventures presents Foothills Run! Foothills Run is a charming cabin in Wears Valley, TN nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains offering breathtaking views. This location is close to all the action in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg yet far enough away to still enjoy a peaceful mountain experience.

PLEASE READ:
1. Fresh linens and towels provided as well as a starter pack of k-cups, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods. Hair dryer included in each bathroom.
2. Hot Tub: The hot tub is drained, sanitize, and refilled with fresh water before every guest's arrival. Chemicals are added and balanced. Due to the high volume of fresh water, the heating process may still be underway at check-in. Depending on the outdoor temperature, reaching +100°F may take until late evening or overnight. We appreciate your patience as we prioritize hot tub hygiene.
3. Cabin has central heating and air conditioning. It is on well water (with a full softening system) and septic.
4. Outdoor surveillance on this cabin has four cameras all around the main deck and garage area.
5. Use of garage and owner's closet is not permitted
6. There is a 3% credit card processing fee for all cancellations. That means your refund will be 97% of the original booking amount if cancelled at least 30 days before check in.
7. $300 security deposit hold (refundable assuming no damages) and signature on the rental agreement are required for booking. The terms in the rental agreement are not negotiable so please inquire if you'd like to read it before booking. Check in details, including the cabin access code, will not be provided until this step is complete.
8. A late check out fee of $100 per every 30 minutes past 10:00am EST will be assessed to guests who do not check out on time. Standard check out time is 10:00am EST.
9. Host promptly responds daily between 9am and 9pm. Messages outside these hours may experience a longer response time.

The view from the living area of the gorgeous Smokey Mountains dressed in their finest fall colors was breathtaking. The house was well furnished had everything one would want for a spectacular stays in the Tennessee Mountains. Andrea even gave us some excellent recommendations for yummy restaurants in town. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for 36 years and this cabin has been our favorite. It was extremely clean, had easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Andrea has been the easiest communicator and most accommodating host ever. We are truly grateful for how she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. And the view was beautiful!

What makes this property unique

Roads - Navigation of windy and at times steep, mountain roads are required along the drive to the cabin. It is also very dark after the sun goes down with little street lighting. Please plan to arrive in the daylight if you are not comfortable navigating curvy mountain roads after dark. 4 wheel drive is not required unless a significant snow storm comes through.

Well Water - The cabin is on well water which is filtered through a salt filtration system that softens the water. While it is safe to drink, we recommend bringing bottled water for drinking and making coffee. Please note there is no water filtration device in the cabin for drinking water.

Septic System - The cabin is on a septic system. Only septic safe toilet paper is approved to be flushed, no other items such as wipes and feminine hygiene products should be flushed.

Wildlife and Critters - Hurray you are in the mountains! That comes with some new encounters. The cabin is treated monthly by a licensed pest control service however there is still a possibility that a critter could make their way inside. Lady bugs are a harmless nuisance that sometimes make their way into the main level. There have been multiple bear and bear cub sightings so far this year in the neighborhood. It is also possible to encounter snakes, spiders and other mountain wildlife during your stay. Please do not leave food or trash outside and use the black bear trash bins by the garage to dispose of cabin trash.

Cell Service - There is no cell phone service at the cabin, however Xfinity high speed wifi is available. Please enable wifi calling before your trip.

Pool and Deli - Please note the pool is Memorial Day through Labor Day. Deli at the pool is open year round.

No check in/out Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
