Contessa's Suite

The Charleston of Milton Inn is located in the heart of Milton's Historic District.
Within walking distance to all downtown shops, restaurants, Doghead Fish Brewery, Milton Theater, Waterfront Parks, etc.
7 Miles to Broadkill Beach.
12 miles to Cape Henlopen State Beach.
14 miles to Rehoboth Outlets and Beach.
Our guest suites are located on the second floor. Each feature a King size bed, private En suite bath, private porch, and kitchenette.

The Contessa's Suite
Our very spacious accommodations provide individual climate controls, ceiling fans, kitchenette breakfast / workspace. We have super high-speed Wi-Fi 400 Mbps as well as wired internet connection via an Ethernet cable at the breakfast / work area. The smart TVs are equipped with 4K Dolby Vision, UHD, free Netflix, and Prime Video included. TVs are also hard wired to the internet (No Buffering)

The King Bed.
Your restful sleep begins with the Westin Heavenly Bed Experience. Enjoy 10 layers of pure comfort on your custom pillow top mattress. Layered with 100 % Egyptian cotton pressed sheets, plush pillows, and imported blankets from Portugal, of seasonal weight. Finished with a King Charles Matelassé Coverlet. Linens and towels are cleaned with Arm & Hammer Free and Clear / Sensitive Skin no dyes or perfume.

Another perfect stay at the Inn in Milton! This is our fifth consecutive summer visit, Our room accommodations are spacious, very clean, and feel luxurious. I love having coffee in the mornings on the balcony, overlooking the beautifully maintained grounds, watching the birds and squirrels eat and play!Already looking forward to our next year’s visit!!

Can’t say enough about this beautiful property in Milton! The host is on top of everything just showing up when you needed him and very enjoyable to chat with and learn what we needed to know about the area. Attentive to all the details, even ones we may not have thought of. Certainly would love to return sometime!We loved the ease of walking for coffee or breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening!

Where do I begin! This was the cleanest property we have stayed at, offering a peaceful atmosphere. We felt well cared for, from the thoughtful amenities to the warm hospitality from Richard. Tastefully decorated, this property allows you to stretch your legs and enjoy the tranquil views from the balcony. About a 30 minute drive from Rehoboth beach, it serves as a perfect home base. The town of Milton itself was also charming, offering plenty of dining and entertainment options a short walk away. This is perfect for couples and families alike. Definitely a place for us to book when we visit Delaware again!

We had such a great stay this weekend. This was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed—everything felt fresh, spotless, and really well taken care of.Richard, the host, was awesome—super friendly and easy to communicate with, but also gave you plenty of space. He met us upon arrival and made sure we were settled in. The place itself was quiet, spacious, with a private balcony overlooking a gorgeous fountain, and just beautifully put together. You can tell a lot of thought went into the inn. The gardens, the artwork, the furnishings, everything was high quality and tasteful. Plus, it had everything we needed, which made the whole stay easy and relaxing.The location is also perfect. It’s a short drive to the beach, and you can either enjoy the town of Milton or use it as a home base to explore nearby spots like Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, and Rehobeth. Would absolutely stay here again!

Richard, the owner, was more than hospitable. The property was beautiful, relaxing with great attention to detail. The location in Milton was quiet but close enough for easy beach access. Nearby restaurants and ice cream in Milton were top notch.

Pleasant and relaxing place to stay!

Richard is the most wonderful host—he made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The property is just beautiful, with perfectly manicured lawns and gorgeous roses and flowers in the garden. Spacious room, comfortable bed, luxurious sheets and bedding, great shower, and a beautiful balcony porch to unwind at the end of the day. We’ll be back next time we’re in Delaware.

The Contessa Suite was a wonderful place for our long weekend of exploring the nearby Delaware shore. Located in the charming town of Milton, our room was large, spotlessly clean, meticulously decorated and had all the amenities that we expect in a small inn. We especially liked the large balcony that overlooked the lovely and peaceful lawn/garden below. Perfect get away

This was a perfect quick get away. It was quiet, but close to all the beach activities. The pillows and mattress were so comfortable. I have not slept that well in years. Sitting on the covered balcony was very relaxing. We will be back.
