A large bear got into my daughter's car on our first day. Her husband scared it out so no damage was done just made a mess. The outdoor area is a really nice place to relax. It was a great set up and place for us.
So glad you had a great time! We genuinely love hearing that our guests enjoyed their stay. Your experience means so much to us, and we hope to welcome you back soon for more wonderful memories!
Very nice home. Had a minor issue which was handled very promptly. Driveway is steep but once you make it up you have your own piece of the mountains.

Harvey, thank you so much for your kind words! We're really glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your understanding of the minor issue, which we promptly addressed. The driveway can be a bit challenging, but we're thrilled you found your own peaceful spot in the mountains. We hope to welcome you back soon!
Lots of space, perfect for our large family. 1 level, so no stairs to have to lug bags up and down. Spacious kitchen, but be sure to bring your own supplies. Great location. Easy to get downtown pretty quickly. The driveway is pretty steep and narrow, but since it's private, you don't have to worry about meeting cars head on. Overall it was a 5 star experience from check in till check out.

It's wonderful to hear that the space suited your large family so well and that you found the location convenient for exploring downtown! Thanks for pointing out the steep driveway; your tip will surely help future guests prepare. We really appreciate your thoughtful review and are so glad you enjoyed your stay from start to finish. Your feedback is invaluable, and we hope to host you again soon!
We enjoyed the property. The location is good and the property is nice. The floors are uneven and buckling up in some areas. The driveway is very steep, and we were thankful that there was no rain/snow during our stay. The guest house only has a space heater, make sure you pack warm clothes/blankets if your stay is during the winter.
We love the house. There are a few things that it could use suggestions one fix the washed out driveway the kitchen Could use some bowls for food for serving. in the bathrooms they Could use some hooks for towels and clothing. Other than that we loved the house it’s a great location, didn’t like the driveway but other than that, it was wonderful

Vestella, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We're sorry to hear about the inconveniences you experienced during your stay regarding the propane and the driveway. We strive to provide enjoyable stays to all our guests, and it seems we missed the mark this time. We do hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the quality stay you expect and deserve.
I'm sorry to say this will be my first non stellar review for a VRBO stay. Here are the good things.1. Close to town2. Pretty grounds3. Nice and bright4. Management was quick to respond online to questions.5. There is a bear we met most mornings and evenings on the property. Very easy going. Here are the not so good1. Extremely steep and pot hole filled driveway. Be careful. It was stressful getting up to the property. If it's wet you will definitely struggle. 4 wheel drive recommended.2. Small mother in law suite:a. Damp and smelled moldy.b.There was no where to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom.c. No chairs3. Mattresses in main house had no mattress covers and the mattress had bumpy top. Uncomfortable to sleep with those rubbing you.4. Dishwasher did not work- we reported and the asked if we needed them to come right away to fix. We left that up to them just letting them know for the next guest. They did not send anyone.5. No curtains in the living area or kitchen.6. Not enough seating in living room for the number of guest the house allows.7. Shower water in the main bedroom never got hot. The sink water did. Weird! So. We did enjoy our visit but as I said this is our first experience with unsatisfactory review and will definitely not use this property again.
The driveway is an experience all in itself….it is super steep with a sharp turn, unfortunately it is washed out in some places making it kind of dangerous if you don’t have a larger vehicle….the check in was smooth because of the codes for the door (they need a code on the back door as it is easier to access. There are two trash cans in the bear locked cage, however one was already full….for a group of six for the week this did not leave much room. The bedding had to be washed because. There was dirt and bugs in the mother in law suite, the mother in law suite had not been cleaned, even though the toilet had been “sanitized for our protection” it had excrement in it….so our first evening was spent cleaning the home….
After cleaning up we actually enjoyed our stay, (we do recommend televisions in the bedrooms, there are none so bring your devices) the internet speed is really good for the area, but not exactly in the mother in law house…the back deck on that also needs some cleaning and repairs….we didn’t use it because it looked unsafe….
Overall the house is very nice, located in a great neighborhood and close to nearly everything, it is very modern but cleaning is definitely not on the best….also there are a ton of bugs and ticks In the second building.
I am not sure we would use the home again because we spent several hours cleaning that we should not have had to do.

We truly appreciate your detailed feedback and are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. It's heartening to know you enjoyed your stay after the initial setbacks, and we are committed to addressing the cleanliness and maintenance issues you mentioned. We value your suggestions about the driveway and televisions and will work to improve these areas. Thank you for highlighting both the positive aspects and areas for improvement.
We never stayed at this cabin, the pervious guests were unable to leave because of the ice on the drive way. This was very disappointing because this cabin looked amazing and its proximity to town was one of the big draws for us. Cabins For You moved us to another cabin called treetops at wears valley in a completely different town which took our drive to downtown from 10 minutes to 40 minutes. The drive way to get to this new cabin was treacherous and very icey as well. It was a mile drive back to the cabin with a steep drop offs and no guard rail. The cabin it self was tiny and dirty. After we unpacked and went out to groceries we came back and the house smelled of gas and sewage. We had to call 911 and the fire department to check it out. We had a burst pipe and they said to not turn the fire place on either. Since the pipe had burst they also shut off our water. After talking with a Cabins For You representative they had nothing for us and we had to stay there. So for the rest of our trip we were stuck with no water. It was a terrible experience with little help from Cabins For You, they couldn’t even be bother to send a plumber out. I will never rent from this company again and I warn all who may gamble on renting from them.

Thank you so much for sharing your honest feedback, Hannah! We're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience during your stay with us. The winter storm before your visit and frozen pipes made for frustration and disappointment during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. With inventory low, there were limited options to move you and your guests, and we are deeply sorry for the dismay this caused. We did not intend for your stay to turn out this way nor for you to have such a poor experience. Rest assured, we have shared your feedback with all departments and upper management for further review. Again, we sincerely apologize for all the trouble you encountered. We hope this does not deter you from visiting the Smokies, even if it is not with us.
